Hôtel Aux Tamaris - Vue Mer

We had two rooms one for us and one for our son The room we had was fairly newly refurbished and very clean and uncluttered. There was a street light outside of our room but cleverly a shutter to block out the light at night . The shower room was very clean with very good water pressure and easy to use shower . It is an old building and our sons room smelt faintly damp but was clean dry and comfortable. The breakfast was very good value continental but with lots of choice including machine to cook boiled eggs , cheese yoghurt fruit salad , croissants , pain au chocolate , crepes , choice of breads and many jams and spreads Nutella , salty toffee , honey etc . Fruit juices and tea coffee , all serve yourself - I would recommend this hotel and would have been happy to stay for several nights . It is in a quiet area very close to the shops and harbour . We had no view but there are rooms with good sea view.

The slight smell of damp in our sons room which can’t be helped as hotel is very old and also a slightly sweaty smell in room we were allocated . So the rooms looked spotless and bedding and towels pure white . It is a shame that somebody before us had not been as clean as they should and a shame for the hotel that the smell had hung around as they were very clean and organised . it didn’t spoil our stay and the hotel Is run very efficiently

The hotel is very quirkily and yet stylishly decked out in a nautical theme. Its location offers the most beautiful sea views at the quieter end of Roscoff. Staff are friendly and efficient. Everything was well-explained. The breakfast buffet provides everything you could want from a continental breakfast of a high quality. We ate and gazed at the view in a calm atmosphere. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean.

There was nothing to dislike.

The location was perfect with close views of the sea and Isle de Batz. The attic room was very quiet. The shower was excellent and spacious. The breakfast was plentiful everything close to hand. The decor in the hotel truly reflected the connection with the sea.

Perhaps the walk up the spiral staircase but with a fear of small spaces I did not use the lift. However I looked upon it as good exercise at my own pace.

The hotel were very understanding when I had a ferry cancellation. The place is delightful, with its nautical theme and superb views from the breakfast room. I had (as expected) a room at the back which overlooked old houses and gardens and beautiful pine trees. It really is a lovely place with a cheerful atmosphere and the staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. It will be my first choice for a return to Roscoff.

A lovely little hotel, in a quiet location and close to town centre. The staff are lovely, friendly and professional. There are fantastic, panoramic views of the beach, sea, Isle de Batz and the peninsular. Beautful views, beaurful sunsets. The breakfasts are very tasty, with an excellent selection of local produce. A real gem. We'd love to stay again.

Very pleasant hotel - pleasing decor - excellent breakfast with glorious views. I was just overnighting before the ferry and it probably wasn't the ideal hotel for that. I can imagine a longer stay would be very pleasant.

Room felt a little cramped - I had booked a single but it had a double bed so not much room to move around. Not cheap at 100 euros per night but the breakfast at 11 euros was excellent and made it all feel better value.

The location to the old town and the view we’re both excellent. we enjoyed watching the very late sunset in the lounge area since it was almost mid summer. The breakfast was very good value and delicious with plenty of choices: fresh baguette, croissants, toast, eggs, fruit, yogurts, cereal… The hotel is impeccably clean. There was a nice shower and everything worked well. The hotel staff were very accommodating. We will be back.

The breakfast was very good with all the usual things including a clever egg cooking contraption! Very nicely set out and a good selection of coffees.The staff were very helpful and the owner gave us some good recommendations for restaurants.

Would have liked a room with a better view but for the price it was very good.

Fabulous location and comfortable room. We had a sea view which was wonderful and the property is just a short walk to the town centre. We wer emade very welcome and there is a little bar, which is a lovely addition after a long drive. We hust stayed the one night en route to the UK and will be rebooking for our next trip.

Everything's great!

Very nice looking hotel right by the seafront and a short walk from the town centre and fishing port. Front rooms look towards île de Batz. Good value breakfast and nice small reception area where you can have a glass of wine. Our small dog was welcome but not in the breakfast area which was fair enough. Nicely appointed and decorated bedrooms and ensuite and a very comfortable bed. Friendly staff. We could easily and quickly walk to the ferry for a day trip to the Île de Batz which turns out to be very beautiful and restful.

Sea view front bedrooms are fine but not spacious.
