Enchanting Oasis with Exceptional Hosts! We had the most wonderful stay at this charming hotel! The beautifully landscaped gardens took our breath away, providing a serene escape from the bustling city. The newly renovated rooms were not only stylish and comfortable but also exuded a sense of elegance. The highlight of our experience, however, was undoubtedly the incredible hosts. Paul and Tanja have created a lovely welcoming atmosphere and provided a very tasty and generous cooked breakfast. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable with a modern spotlessly clean bathroom. The use of original french furniture gives a very unique feel to the L’ancienne Gendarmerie. The location is lovely, set in a small village with a great restaurant literally a few steps from the front door. We really enjoyed our stay and just wish it was a little longer.

Good location to stop en route when travelling. Easy to find and plenty of parking right outside. Decor of bedroom and bathroom very good. Excellent shower and plenty of hot water. Dressing area with large mirror to dry hair / to do make up. Also hair dryer was very good. Decent French breakfast and offers full English breakfast on request for extra fee.
Only booked for one night so didn’t have any negative issues.

Paul & Tanja where very welcoming and even provided us with a coffee after our long journey. The B&B is stunningly beautiful. The room was spacious, very clean and bed so comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay again if in the area. Thanks Taff & Jo.

Friendly welcome and very accomodating. Pillows were very soft and was initially concerned but they were very comfortable
Not really a dislike but surprised no showergel, shampoo or shower cap but maybe this isn't usually provided in France
