B&B HOTEL Saint-Quentin

I recently toured France, Spain & Portugal on my motorcycle. On the basis of reasonable security for my bike, I selected each of my accommodation stops with this in mind and I certainly found it here in Saint Quentin. The Hotel was securely fenced and the entry gate was closed at night, the car park was large and well lit. The Hotel itself was very comfortable, very clean and the large bed was great. The shower in the en-suite bathroom was very welcome after a long day on the road. I particularly liked the ease of gaining entry as the reception was closed when I arrived. The touch screen instructions were easy to follow and simple. The Continental Breakfast accompanied with some cooked food was subject to an additional charge of 8.50 Euros, although a limited selection, it was very nice and it set you up for the day. I would consider the B&B Hotels to be really good value for money, user friendly. This was the third B&B Hotel that I’d stayed in on my trip.

Nothing really. I actually got what I had expected.

I arrived to find a family using the auto check in screen, I spoke with them and then I checked in. No issues other than the print out for the code/room numbers wasn’t working. Took picture of screen at the end so no drama. Room and facilities was expected, clean and comfortable, air conditioning worked a treat. Location is ideal for the run to the tunnel with plenty of choice of eating within walking distance. Parking is secure with an electronic gate out of sight from the road.

Nothing, great budget hotel ideal for short stay.

The receptionist was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, ideal for our needs. In terms of location, it was a few minutes from the autoroute, a supermarket petrol station is nearby and there are restaurants within easy walking distance - The Crocodile is good value and the food is excellent. Calais is less than 120 miles away.

We were completely satisfied with this hotel. We've stayed there in the past and would stay again.

good facilities in terms of room - drinks / sweets available by vending machine; decent size room, good shower, comfy bed. Very pleasant and welcoming host. Convenient location for our onward travel. Excellent buffet / all you can eat restaurant near by - Restaurant Crocodile.

we did get an email on the day about reception not being open all the time but I didn't pick it up / travelling by motorbike . Even if I had it didnt say what the opening hours were anyway. We got there early which was a bonus but couldn't get in. Neither of us had a credit card or a card that worked in the auto check in system. ..

Stayed one night at start and end of our holiday. It is located less than 10 minutes from the motorway. The room was clean, of a reasonable size and with an excellent shower.

It would have been good to have been able to have an evening meal on site or in one of the other budget hotels across the road on the return trip. None of this type of hotel seem to do an evening meal on a Sunday, which is a disappointment. Co-ordination between such hotels near each other such that one provides an evening meal every evening would help the weary traveller.

A very good hotel for an overnight stay when travelling from the South of France to Calais, or indeed in the other direction. Minutes from the A26 Autoroute it is in an excellent location. Clean, comfortable room with nice bed linen and towels. Excellent power shower, one of the best we have used in any hotel. Basic continental breakfast but with quality ingredients so very enjoyable. No restaurant for dinner at the hotel but several restaurants in the locality - an Asian buffet restaurant just across the road (behind the flower store) and a Buffalo Grill just 10 minutes walk away (may need to use Google Maps to locate it).

Couldn't fault anything for what is a budget, transit hotel.

Well located off motorway. Secure parking. Good sized rooms and comfy beds. Breakfast reasonably priced as included hot and cold food.

The check in machine was ‘offline’ so caused a small problem as couldn’t get in, it was our first visit so unsure what to do but manager was friendly and helpful when contacted through the call button opposite. Internet connection needs improving to solve the problem.

I have stayed in this style of hotel many times so I knew what to expect. The hotel is basic but comfortable, friendly staff, secure parking and a good bar next door. perfect for me.

there wasn't much of the cooked breakfast stuff left, but this wasn't a major problem as there was plenty of everything else

Great stop over when travelling back home to uk. Air con was a bonus during the heatwave! Bedding clean and nice quality. Showers are fabulous! Pleasant staff/reception Check in 24/7 brilliant Nice and quiet on our visit. Dog friendly Good parking area

Nothing all good.

We booked as a stopover after crossing the channel on our way to the alps. The location was perfect, it was easy to get in late, room was very comfortable, larger than expected and just right for our family with teenage children.

We regretted booking breakfast. We could have done with leaving earlier and it started a bit late on the Saturday for us (7.30-10). It was ok in terms or quality and offering. Take your own teabags!
