Hotel The Originals Residence de Rohan (EX RELAIS DU SILENCE)

Loved the peaceful setting and perfect quiet room for us with the dogs with easy access to the outside of the property and a lovely outside terrace. Also ideally situated to gain access via a private gate to the beach. Great selection of produce at breakfast and as it was late in the season and not too busy we were allowed the dogs with us at breakfast

Unfortunately dinner wasn’t available at the hotel as we were late in the season and we had to search out a nice restaurant for our evening meal.

The position of the hotel is great set back on the cliff right beside the coastal walk. Great place to stay with our dog who was also made welcome. The hotel itself is a lovely building. We were in a room seperate from the main building that trailed across the grounds in a row ours being a ground floor. The swimming pool was behind really nice pool well cared for as we're the grounds.

Nothing to not like.

The hotel is absolutely stunning and our room was lovely, large and comfortable. The pool area looked nice. The walk to the beach is very convenient and there is a beautiful coastal walk you can take from right outside. If you are looking for peace and quiet then this is the place for you. The staff were excellent also, everyone we met was welcoming and friendly.

Given that there is no restaurant in the hotel and the area itself is very quiet, I would have liked a little mini fridge in the room so we could store some snacks.

A haven of peace and tranquility. Even if our booking led to some confusion, the staff and the hotel were extremely accommodating and the rooms we were offered were excellent. The house and the facilities - beach nearby and the pool - are lovely.

Only the fact that we couldn't stay longer!

The staff at Residence de Rohan are exceptional. On the front desk they could not be more obliging and helpful, and Amandine who serves breakfast has a glorious smile and the sunniest attitude. The hotel is right above the beach, yet feels really private. It's easy and lovely to walk either way round the headlands to other beaches, and we found lots of good local restaurants for dinner. The pool is sunny and the garden part-shady, which is perfect for us. The hotel only serves snacks later in the day, but the breakfast would set you up for the whole day anyway!

One night a beach party was quite a disturbance. Another car-charging point would be good..

A beautiful location and neighbourhood, much privacy, very comfortable room with a nice little terrace of its own - excellent to relax and to enjoy the nearby beach and little towns.

The gardens, the view, the rooms, the breakfast, the easy parking, the easy access to the beach!!

The hotel doesn't provide beach towels. They also lock up the pool net, which meant we couldn't remove insects (which are perfectly normal) for our children's swims.

Charming quiet pet-friendly hotel, beautiful building, lovely garden with private access to the beach, excellent coastal walk you can take from right outside, nice breakfast on the open terrace, friendly and efficient staff.

Very small room

The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices to suit everyone and all very fresh and of good quality. Lovely location right next to the sea.

No places open near by for an evening meal but was still a lovely walk to the next small town.

Expensive room rate when there isn’t even a kettle, it was very hot in the whole building and poor breakfast choice if you can’t eat egg, leaves only bacon bread and pastry to choose from.
