The owner came to meet us; lovely warm welcome. The 'Java' bedroom, bathroom and additional outdoor space were just perfect; comfortable, quiet and homely; not like a hotel. Breakfast in the owner's kitchen with log fire burning was delicious; almost everything homemade - yogurt & stewed fruit, brioche, butter and jams; croissant. Parking. A perfect start before a long journey home. We'd definitely book again. Thank you, Florence.

It would be helpful if the website mentioned that the 'supper platters and wine' which you could order and which were described (sounded delicious) are only available during the warmer summer months.

Our room was a cave! We loved it. So quirky and very cool as the weather was so warm. Very pretty and a traditional French style. We loved the room we had, I think the other rooms are more conventional in the house. There are two lovely dogs, some cats (but we only saw the one). The owner, Florence was very helpful and served a delicious breakfast with a delicious homemade fruit compote. A must stay if you are in this area!

Such a lovely setting for a night in this wine region of France after doing a tour of the Cave de Vouvray. The hostess was welcoming and attentive, the room comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast serve outside was delightful containing many homemade products! You couldn't ask for more. Really hope to return one day.

We struggled a little with getting wifi connection but this was really not a big problem.

The hotel was a very rural location which was what we wanted, there is not much in the village itself which was a shame. The room we had was in the eaves and was very nice, all the facilities we required were there. The breakfast was excellent.

The village the hotel was located in had little to no amenities.

Lovely breakfast with homemade products. Very close for visiting Vouvray wine caves - 10 min walk. Free parking outside. Patio area to sit in the evening, very quiet area. More wine options to try locally also.

Personal touch. Clean, comfortable, location good. Parking adequate but on main street so not as secure as private parking. Host very good, breakfast fab. Bed comfortable.

Shower pressure is a bit weak.

Very personal and familiar feeling. Exactly what you wish a b&b to be! Homemade breakfast, friendly and social host. Great garden and cozy village. Walking distance to several winery's.

We were warmly welcomed even though we were a bit early - we were offered a light supper - a delicious salad and a lovely bottle of local wine. We sat outside in the fading sun and ate our dinner. Breakfast was great and set us up for the drive back to Calais and home

very friendly place, comfortable rooms decorative touches beautiful courtyard cave room was an experience - as there was heat it was refreshing we found the planchette for supper tasty and very convenient lovely breakfasts cats and dogs :)

cave room was unique and special but would not be suitable to someone bothered by high humidity, or too tall

Breakfast was good and was lovely sitting with other guests in the hosts kitchen. Location was good and ideal if interested in wines as surrounded by vineyards. We used this as a stopover but would love to go back.
