Bayerischer Hof

Exceptionally clean and a fantastic location right in the centre, yet very quiet. 10 min walk from bus/train station. The staff were very helpful. I had a single room which was small but had enough space for me and my luggage. No air con but had a fan and the weather was mild. The mattress was firm but the pillow very very soft. Wonderful breakfast with a great selection of fresh delicious food. Highly recommend this place.

The only thing I’d prefer is a slightly more supportive pillow - but that is minor. everything else was great.

The hotel is in the very heart of the town, nevertheless the place is very quiet. I enjoyed the authentic pieces of furniture in the hallways - made some nice selfies to remember:). The cleanliness of the room was always maintained at its best and the staff was very helpful. Thanks for the pleasant stay. I'd definitely consider to stay here the next time I visit the town.

There was free wifi in the room, however, it usually took a couple of minutes to load the first website. After that it worked fine.

Breakfast was good, room comfortable, location good. Close to train station. Really appreciated to environmentally aware hotel is.

We arrived late in the evening, and reception was closed, and the only way in was by ringing bell, and waiting for someone to open, which was another guest. In saying that, I did later see that the hotel had actually messaged me with instructions on how to get in. This is not a complaint - it was just a minor irritation.

Historic and atmospheric hotel in the center of Freising. A 10 minute walk to the train station will get you to downtown Munich or the airport quickly. Price was half of the cost to stay in downtown Munich. Stay here; it's closer to the airport, easy to get Munich and it's more restful in this small town with all conveniences (stores, restaurants) and some nice attractions. The hotel will rent you a bike for €10 a day and the town has nice bike paths. Freising has a university and a good number of international students. I'll stay here again if I return to the Munich area.

No Uber in Freising. You will have to call a taxi if you have a lot of luggage and can't handle a 10-minute walk from the train station. Just plan and you should be OK. Currently construction on part of the main street as of August 2022. Their church is hidden in scaffolding.

The hotel is located in the historical city center, still only 10 minutes walk from the train station. The hotel has a lovely Bavarian style, nice and super clean rooms and a very polite and welcoming staff. I really appreciated the electric kettle in the room for coffe and tea and the super quality tea provided by the hotel. The breakfast starting from 6 a.m. was amazing with fresh bakery and tasty salami, cheese and ham. I can recommend this hotel very much.

Can't beat the location, in the very center of old town. Reasonable walk from the bus/train station, 15 minutes at the most. This town and hotel were selected to be able to stay overnight near the Munich airport. There's a bus direct from the airport to central Freising. Very nice staff. Clean room, comfortable bed, bathroom is roomy.

No air conditioner and the day was very warm. At night the temperature outside dropped considerably and with the window open it was very comfortable. There was a table fan that is a very nice thought of management. The only uncomfortable period was the afternoon of arrival when the outside temperature was still very warm. This was only a stay of one night.

Hotel was spotlessly clean. The room was a reasonable size. The breakfast had to be ordered the day before by a certain time - it said to cut down waste - but also guess due to Covid. Nevertheless the breakfast was good. Well positioned for the airport and fast train to Munich. Staff were pleasant.

We were knocked before 8o/c for a room clean which was a pain having had a long drive down the previous day. chose not to have our room cleaned for duration as a little too early for us! The breakfast - anything cooked hot was only warm/cold by the time they brought it to us. Minor things but have stayed here before on a number of occasions and has never been a problem. Car parking fees irritate!

This was my second stay at the Bayerishcher Hof ! I love the location in the heart of the lovely town of Freising, the confortable and spacious room, the friendly staff, the great breakfast. I use this hotel as an airport hotel (MUC is only 20 minutes away by taxi)

My room had no air conditioning and it was noisy outside with the windows open. This is a minor problem though and I will continue booking this hotel in the future.

In the town center, so an easy walk to restaurants and cafes. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and accommodating. About a 15 minute drive to the airport.

The construction getting into town was not good at all. Streets were blocked and no detours noted on signage. Google maps was also confused, so we followed the other lost drivers. Finally, Google maps kicked in to help us navigate. I recommend having a hard copy map of the town. Other than that the only problem I noted was that the shower was very slick with no support bar to grab.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent! Great variety, excellent quality, especially the orange ginger shots and lattes. I didn’t know we could’ve ordered omelettes but food was great anyway. Location was great, wish my group and I would’ve had more time to explore.

Sadly, there was a bit of mold and mildew in my shower. The older members of my group had a little bit of difficulty maneuvering the stairs.
