I especially recommend staying in this hotel to all the architecture lovers - it's an unique opportunity to stay in a Hundertwasser-designed hotel, bath in a Hundertwasser bathroom etc. We loved how authentic it was! Other than that: it was easy for us to park outside of the hotel, on the street; beds are comfortable and rooms are clean! Nothing to complain about!

The furniture and the interior design that were added to the hotel - they don't really match the splendid architecture, but I guess it's incredibly hard to match Hundertwasser extravagant taste.

Very nice to be able to stay in Hundertwassers’ Zitadelle for a couple of days! As hotel guest you are able to sit on the lush green terraces at the first floor of the building. Beautiful to see all those trees, plants and birds! You can really feel how it is like to live there.

We had a room to the street, so we couldn’t sleep with windows open because of the noise. But even though it was 38 degrees those days, the bedroom luckily wasn’t too hot to sleep. The decoration of the room could be more in style. We had a ‘modern room’, but the furniture didn’t really fit to each other and the art was a bit simple for hundertwassers art and architecture! This could be done better to really get the feeling of a Gesamtkunstwerk.

I loved the special Hundertwasser building, I enjoyed the sunny common terrace with real green grass on the 1st floor, where you sit outside. Friendly, helpful staff. comfortable bed, big bedroom. Unique tiles in the bathroom, good high pressure water in the shower. We didn't have breakfast, so I don't have opinion about it. Closeby the river Elba, shopping mall, restaurants, bakeries. Don't miss the Hundertwasser guided tour in German!

We stayed for one night and it wasn't enough to enjoy this museum-like hotel!) All patios, terraces, and the building itself are super cool. The parking garage is very convenient to use. There was no air conditioning mentioned in our booking and I was worried about that, as it was 33-35 degrees outside. But we found the temperature of the room very comfortable. The breakfast was good. Nothing special, just a regular selection of fresh food.)

Our dog's toy rolled under the bed and I noticed that there was lots of dust there.

- Location right in the centre - small but nice 24h Sauna area - the building itself and the possibilities to sit outside on the shared balconies even if your room doesn't have one - parking garage - 24h reception - friendly staff

- Breakfast and drinks (even Water) quite pricey - Garage also quite pricey - bathroom could have been tiny bit cleaner

The hotel is ten minutes walk from the main station and within walking distance of the main sights of the town. The room, as with the hotel, had a distinctive design and was spacious, clean and comfortable and free from internal and external noise. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

There was no overhead light in the room, so it was a bit disorientating at first and making sure that I had packed everything.

The place, the staff, and the service were all perfect!

I need to think hard about it...ok I found one! The pavement outside is a bit curved, thus, the tables are not aligned, and maybe my boiled egg could roll and fall down :) but still, they have many eggs to try :)

It was a great experience to live in a place designed by a visionary artist/architect, Hundertwasser. Iconic building, unlike any of the hotel we have been before. The tour guide is highly recommended! you will learn and appreciate even more about the concept and story behind this wonderful place.

The staff were genuinely friendly- you could feel they enjoy their job, which makes it very homey. The welcome drink a nice added touch. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spotless. Morning breakfast staff were kind, helpful and attentive. The breakfast room also cosy. Location perfect to see the city sights. Felt like home away from home. I highly recommend it!

Nothing to complain about at all!

The hotel building itself is worth to visit and enjoy the views. Underground parking available. The rooms are stylish, the bed is comfortable. Sightseeings in Magdeburg reachable by short walking distance. Breakfast is very good.

The breakfast room is rather small and due to the coronavirus regulations even some tables could not be used, therefore some guests had to have their morning coffee outside, which is at +11 degrees conditions possible, but not very much enjoyable. Also the towels in the bathroom very a bit old.
