B&B Hotel Mainz-Hechtsheim

A last minute booking for our holiday and the best of the 4 hotels we stayed at. Never heard of this hotel chain but would definitely check out their other hotels. The room was very large and modern, contained a double bed and a bunk bed for the children. The breakfast room was also very modern and the breakfast quality was excellent! There is no restaurant for an evening meal but we found a great pizzeria in the old town. Definitely recommend!

Close to transit routes. Good base for trips to the Rhine Valley. Not far from public transport to the town. Outside the Umwelt zone 👍👍 staff helpful and friendly. Ample parking.

Smokers outside the room window. Needs to upgrade a level in cleanliness. Not much to do in the surrounding industrial park. Surrounding roads can be noisy at night/ air conditioning a little underwhelming.

It’s very close to work which is super convenient. The hotel staff are always super nice and everything else is pretty standard at an acceptable level of cleanliness.

Although the location is close to my work, if you’re working in the Center of Mainz, this is not the hotel for you and given its proximity to the industrial estate, I would say the price is a little too high for the purpose.

The hotel was neat and clean. Location was also genuinely nice, close to the highway. We were looking some place for a stayover in between our journey, and we found this hotel. This was nice. There was breakfast option as well in the hotel, but unfortunately it was not part of the booking. But thanks to the location of the hotel, there is a "Bonjour Cafe" right opposite to the hotel, where we found nice Croissant.

There was some cigarette smoke coming in the bathroom constantly, not sure why. We opened the window to get rid of it but still it was there. I believe, there must be some issue with the exhaust system. The self-check-in system hanged, and we were kind-of-stuck, but fortunately the emergency number came handy. Thanks to the person, who helped us check-in and provided the code.

The room had everything we needed, very clean. The staff was helpful, instructions clear. We used the room for one night stay to sleep after the celebration in the Pyramid. It was perfect for our purpose.

There was a weird smell in the 2nd floor corridor. The room was fine.

Great hotel for a small family. Nice staff. Clean. Comfortable. While next to a busy road, extremely quiet.

Very little to complain about. The hotel is in a little bit of an industrial area. But very close to restaurants and very quiet. So, nothing to complain about.

Just a regular B&B. Nothing special, it was clean and ok and closest to the venue we were visiting. You get what you see on the pictures The accommodations in Mainz are pricey, considering what the city and surrounding has to offer. But that's how the market is. Check in is easy, you get a card with the code with which you access the building and the room. At checkout time I think the code just expires and you cannot enter again. No one was in the reception on Sunday when we were leaving.

Good size family room. Basic accommodation. Easy check-in and check-out. Comfortable beds and it was really quiet at night besides the busy road.

The carpet was really dirty.

We were going for a wedding nearby, so the location and free parking were a big plus.

The shower cabin had some moulds, otherwise everything was very clean.

Nice clean room with comfortable interiors..

It's in an industrial area near busy roads but with ear plugs it's ok to sleep
