Seehotel Berlin-Rangsdorf

Very rude waitress that simply and deliberately ignored us as though we were not there. No excuse. Had to wait 35 minutes for a simple drink and only then after I complained to reception. I wanted to escalate my complaint about the unacceptable behaviour but no management available so I subsequently sent complaint by email but did not even get a response.

Location, the lake is stunning

The toilet was separate from the shower and there wasn’t even a sink in it to wash my hands before I can open the door to get out from the toilet. A sink in the toilet for hand wash is a very basic hygiene thing, and it is unpleasant to use the toilet when you know you have to use your hands for you know what and you know for sure the person before you dis not wash hands after the thing and before opening the door. In other words it is a nightmare for a germaphobic person who is super afraid of bacteria. I ended up going to the toilet with wet wipes in pocket. This issue should be addressed. It is 100% a design problem with the architecture of the place. Can possibly totally ruin someone’s holiday

Beautiful hotel, freshly renovated, beautiful view from the window, if you take rooms overlooking the lake. Insects can fly into the room due to the water. The breakfast is delicious. The parking lot is big.

We were travelling with a dog and chose this hotel for 1 night on our roadtrip. Stickers “No dogs allowed” on the front door scared us but there was absolutelly no issue bringing our dog in. The staff was welcoming and the dog could even join us for the dinner if we sit at one of the outdoor tables.

Unfortunatelly, the beach area which is next to the hotel doesn’t allow dogs (It doesn’t belong to the hotel). There are nice options to go for a walk in the forrest but if you are looking for some dog beach time, I guess you would need to go further.

The location is amazing and our room had a nice view over the lake. The hotel is not modern but has the quality you expecting in Germany, everything is very clean! We traveled with our dog who was also very welcome in the hotel for 15 Euro a night. Around the hotel are enough possibilities for a nice walk. It was a nice sunny day so we had nice drinks and dinner on the terras of the hotel restaurant with again the nice view over the lake.

It was one night before the flight, and we chose the hotel just due to its location. When we arrived, suddenly we saw the lake, lots of different birds . It was a magnificent night. We had dinner in our room. Room service is 5 Euro. Food is simple, but soooo tasty. It was really worth to visit such a place and the hotel. Since that night I know, where I will stay between the flights

A bit shabby equipped room, but! Everything is clean, not dusty or dirty. I heard loud sound of the fridge in the other room. :(

I like the hotel, the place, and the quality of service. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent, and the choice for the breakfast was very good. We had a room with lake view, and I liked it very much. I will be glad to visit this place once again, if I have a chance.

My husband thought that check-in was slow.

The location by the lake was beautiful. Rooms were well appointed and absolutely spotless. Staff were exceptional. They constantly went out of their way to help us (and always with a smile on their face). A special mention to Andreas Wilhelm on reception who was so kind, friendly and helpful.

Air conditioning would have been a bonus as it was very hot.

Beautiful renovated hotel. Right on the lake. We stayed there before our flight out of Berlin the next day - very convenient access to Berlin International airport. Would definitely stay there on another occasion for recreation. Wonderful breakfast

No complaints

What seemed to be a little outdated olddish hotel in the middle of nowhere turned out to be a really pleasant surprise. The room pictures on Booking.com do not do justice. Whatever you do, please get a room with lake-view, it was fantastic and makes all the difference in the world. The facilities are spacious and ergonomic, everything is clean and professional. Lake-view is relaxing and it is so quiet. Staff are real professionals. Parking is not a problem, the lot is huge.
