B&B Hotel Trier

The hotel is located near the city centre, but access to the city centre and its most important places is difficult across from the train station. Fortunately, Trier is small and getting to these places is relatively easy. Interestingly, the station has only one exit facing the centre. I met the B&B chain in Göttingen. There, the location is more favourable, and besides, parking there is free, here it costs 6 Euro. In addition, in Göttingen, if you went to the parking lot at the back of the hotel, you could go back the same way, and here you have to go back a longer course, from the front of the building through the reception. The rooms in the B&B are small but sufficient for a short stay, even for three people in one. It's clean and quiet. Trains, even at night, are practically inaudible. The traffic is also minimal.

In B&B, there are only two seats in a triple room, but since the space is tiny, the 3rd person sits on the bed. You can hear the noise of closing doors of other rooms a bit, but this is a common feature of all hotels of this type with such heavy doors and automatic closing mechanisms.

The check-in staff was very helpful and provided great recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing locations, they also booked a taxi for me to go to the train station. The breakfast room is great and good value for money.

The hotel is a 15min walk from the train station as well as to town centre, there are no close by bus stops so it was a little difficult to get to with a luggage, so I had to call a taxi. Still uses plastic cups in the room. No hairdryer.

Room looked fresh, private parking was available instantly, beds reallly comfortable, aircondition highly appreciated, Internet setup fast & easy. Staff friendly and responsive - I asked by email about parking place and got almost instant response

Room not that spacious for 3 adults, with rather small window. Just two seats and small table - for one night you will survive but for longer stay not that comfy, no electric kettle

The staff here were great. There was a problem with our room and they quickly solved the issue and made us feel very welcome. We felt very comfortable in the end and happy to recommend this place to anyone

We had an issue with our room and as we checked after reception hours had to wait until morning but the staff were great and sorted it all out!

Very cosy and clean, good breakfast, quiet area.

Location just opposite the railway station, but in order to reach it you need to make a detour (10' walk to the closest bus station - lines 3/ 83 that will get you downtown, 20' walk right to the central market place or 5' by cab)

Perfect location, very close to the highway or to the train station. Shops and fast food are close to the hotel. Amiable and welcoming staff. Check-in is super fast. The room is excellent and very warm, comfortable bed and a quiet zone for a good night sleep. Breakfast was fabulous. Parking is available at the rear of the hotel.

Hotel is about 15min level walk from the Porta Nigra . Parking is free and there seems to be plenty of spaces . The room was very clean , warm and comfy with a great shower and quiet . Breakfast was ok , not a massive choice but more than adequate . I have stayed here many times with friends who also like the hotel . I will stay here again !!

Maybe a little more choice for breakfast but this might be due to covid

Great staff. I lost my key card with the code. I was called within only a few minutes and my code was changed. I felt completely safe staying here alone.

Check in was really good. We did not opt for breakfast though we wished we had! The rooms were a good size, lovely bathroom. Very clean

Nothing really. the location was a bit further than i thought and you do not enter the centre the prettiest way, but I cannot fault the hotel it was lovely.

First impression was the friendliness of the staff member when we arrived he was very cheerful and very helpful, check in was really easy and our room was great and very comfortable. We went down to ask if there was a map and how to get to Trier centre and again the same staff member couldn't have been more helpful. the overall friendliness of staff and their helpfulness made our stay really memorable !!
