Dimitra Boutique Hotel

Lovely hotel that is well run, in a great location, very helpful and friendly staff and fantastic breakfast on the roof garden. Really enjoyed my staff there.

I think the big problem with the hotel is it is difficult to find. I used google maps which took me up many steps to get to the hotel. It was really exhausting and would have been more difficult if I had mobility problems or was mid day. I can see this has been raised before. I have drawn a map which I hope the hotel will use. There is an easy way to the hotel which, although up hill, is not up steps. This would make it easier for future guests.

The prime advantage of this hotel is its big roof terrace & bar where breakfast is also served. The view and sunset is marvelous! The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was very good! It is quite easy to reach the hotel from the port (a little up the hill) although there could be better indications/directions from the bottom road. The area is quiet and it is an easy walk to the promenade with lots of restaurants and bars. We loved Poros island!

I have a doubt about the term "boutique" hotel, but I see it has become trendy for hotels to label themselves as "boutique" or "Art" hotels and was wondering what are the criteria? To be a real boutique hotel some improvements will have to be made especially to the bathroom. The superior double room that we booked was defnitely not 20 square metres as was listed on booking.com. The bathroom/shower was also very small which could be a problem for big people - the toilet pushed in between the wall and shower, shower head so-so, water pressure not the best and air conditioning noisy (switching on-off all the time).

Breakfast was delightful on the roof terrace which has the best-ever panoramic view of the bay of Poros. A great selection of fresh fruit, various types of bread, pastries and cereals too. Also available are boiled, poached and scrambled eggs with bacon and cheese, olives and charcuterie. Freshly squeezed orange juice and a selection of teas and coffees. We completed all the Poros Trails from the easiest to the hardest

I loved the breakfast and the views. Our room was comfortable but I would request a room with a view as we were close to the road and the mopeds created a petrol smell in our room.

A lovely view from our room, across the port and to the mainland. We also enjoyed an evening cocktail at the Oceanis bar up on the roof. Reasonable breakfast too.

Our bathroom was in need of a thorough, deep clean. There was little practical space in the bathroom, few places to hang our towels, and no shelving for personal items. It was difficult to get good pre arrival advice about the best way to get heavy suitcases from the Port to the hotel. It was only once we had checked in, that we were told about the rear entrance which has much fewer steps.

The Dimitri hotel is located perfectly in the centre of Poros - beside restaurants , shops and Tavernas. We saw the most stunning sunsets from our balcony every evening. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and stylish and the bathroom had a fabulous multi jet massage shower. The owners and staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend this hotel enough - Will definitely stay here again. .

Small, friendly hotel with lovely bedrooms and in most cases views of the sea or hills. Close to the port and within walking range of most things. Has a roof top bar/cocktails bar/restaurant (Oceanis - run seperately from hotel) which provides great views, particualrly sunsets. Make sure you spend at least 3 days on Poros, or any island, for that matter, as difficult to get the most of the place.

Nothing really! Probably not great if you have mobility issues as is on an incline from sea level up to the top of a hill. Car access is limited. The hair dryer was useless, which is a common problem we find, on our travels.

I highly recommend this hotel for an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff's warm and welcoming nature made me feel right at home. Their genuine hospitality created a pleasant and memorable stay. The location of the hotel is truly breathtaking. Situated on top of a hill, it offers a stunning view of the bay area. Waking up to this picturesque sight was a delight every morning. The tranquil surroundings provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and rejuvenating. One of the highlights of my stay was the amazing breakfast served on the top floor of the hotel. The panoramic view of the bay area while enjoying a delicious meal was truly an unforgettable experience. The attention to detail and variety of options available ensured that every morning started on a delightful note.

The main drawback of this location is that parking is situated a distance away from the hotel, and transporting luggage to the hotel becomes challenging due to a roughly 30-meter uphill climb, particularly when dealing with a heavy suitcase.

Loved the view from our room and the breakfast terrace - magical, right across the town, sea and mountains beyond. Could sit there for hours watching the boats coming and going. Very convenient location close to the car ferry and free parking at the port, lots of places to eat all along the quayside, not far to the ferries or the water taxis to Galatas. Comfortable room and good breakfast buffet.

There was no one at reception when we arrived but rang the phone number and got all the arrival instructions we needed. The hotel is one level up from the quayside accessible by steps or steep roads (easier with a case) but be aware that not ideal if you have mobility issues.

Excellent value for money, as we found with Poros generally. A simple/basic guesthouse done really well. Beautiful roof terrace with great breakfast selection. Perfect location for the car/foot ferry to Galatas, the main ferry port, hiking trails, and the best restaurants in town. We eat at and recommend Karavalos, Apagio, and Poseidon. Poros has excellent hiking trails. Go to porostrails.gr We did routes 2, 3, 3a, and combined 4&6 into a larger circular route. All great and quite easy. Double aspect room let in lots of light. Handy drying rack on the balcony.

The bathroom shower should be replaced. You have to hold the handle to shower which is awkward.

Rich breakfast (except no "normal" bread and no tea pot available), the limited space well used, view from the terrace. Modern bathroom with many products. Room ready early in the afternoon. Electric kettle and coffee in the room. Very limited space but no problem for one person. Room was clean.

smoking allowed at the breakfast (rooftop terrace), loud when people checked in late at night, a little smell in the bathroom. Bathroom not absolutely clean. Room backwards, so no view. Possibility to make coffee in the room, but no tea.
