Egnatia Hotel

Very well maintained old hotel with authentic atmosphere from the last century, with old furniture and charm from the past. Great experience, like travel back in time! Nice staff with really good local recommendations for restaurants, cafes and places to visit! Central location, everything in walking distance. Not to forget the free underground parking next to the hotel!

I was traveling and I didn't have time to stay more. Ioannina is a special place that's worth visiting for few days, relax and enjoy!

Excellent value hotel, right in the heart of Ioannina, walking distance to all the eateries and also to the lake and castle. Ideal location. The staff were also really polite and helpful. The room was large with a comfortable double bed and en-suite shower room.

The decor was a little dated but can't complain at the price point. Excellent value for money 👍🏻

They let me check in straight away even though I got there before check in time which was great after a long tiring journey. Nowt fancy, but in a good location about halfway between the bus station and the old town. It has what I need, a shower, a toilet and a clean comfy bed. I like the balcony. Friendly helpful staff.

The car park is big but treacherously narrow and hard to navigate.. also very slippery walking down to get your car. Also, I wouldn't use the balcony as it seems like the railings are rusted. Old hotel building. But the room and staff fantastic .

The hotel is located perfectly for anyone who is staying in Ioannina for a few days, very nearby the centre with many restaurants within a 5 minute distance. Our room had everything we needed for our stay and the receptionist was very friendly and spoke english. Also we found the price most agreeable!

Charming hotel, decorated kind of like from the past still. Spotless and comfortable. Elevator. Close to center (walking, biking). Parking in the garage nearby. Wonderful town!

It was not very clear where to park in the garage, if they had texted me that you park where there is no orange cone, that would have been helpful. But there is an intercom, and they watch the garage with video's. Not a big deal.

The staff is really just the best. So kind, helpful, and sweet. Also, the room and everything was so impeccably clean, 10/10! The location is also great, almost in the heart of the old town, close to all the best bars, shops and very close to the lake. Wifi also works perfectly.

Stayed a few times. Very friendly staff. very polite and accommodating. It is a vintage hotel with a unique flair in the center of town, close to castle. It is super clean, I mean OCD clean, with snow white crispi bed sheets. Great value too.

It was like a good-value hotel in a good location. No whiff-whaff. You get the keys, WiFi was good and we had a small balcony.

We didn't like Ioannina very much and were barely traveling through. The old town with the lake is nice though.

Similar to 1970’s - 80’s Small town USA hotel. Great front desk. Elevator great for luggage. In an area of upscale stores.

Many cobblestone streets from bus station to hotel. I could not find any restaurants nearby. A paper map from hotel would be nice. Thought it was odd they told me I needed to pay upon checkout. I paid via Booking.com during reservation process. Be an aware traveler.
