Vencia Boutique Hotel

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and it was one of the best holidays we have had in a long time. The hotel was kind enough to book transfer from the airport to the hotel for 5 euro person. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by a member of staff who kindly took our bags, and showed us to reception. Check in was smooth and quick, and as an added bonus we were given welcome drinks. The receptionist Anita sat us down and personally welcomed us to the hotel. She had a map of the town and showed us the best places to eat and visit, and which beaches to visit. She was so clear with the information and was always happy to answer any questions we had. The hotel is situated on a hill, and is within walking distance to the town. Keep in mind there are a lot of steps to town so comfortable shoes are recommended. The pool has one infinity pool and no children’s pool. It has the most breath taking views of the town, and you can see the sunrise and sunset from the pool area and restaurant. There is a bar and the bar staff are very attentive and make the best cocktails. The pool is open from 8 – 9pm and the bar opens from 12-9pm. Breakfast is a buffet, but you can also choose from the menu, eggs benedict, fried egg on toast with avocado etc. Hot drinks and fresh juice are included. For dinner it is best to book, as the hotel restaurant gets busy, due to the views overlooking the town, food is fantastic and worth trying. There are a number of resturants in town as an option. The room was clean and tidy, and had air conditioning that kept us cool in the hot weather, there was no kettle but free bottles of water in the fridge and small toiletries, which was a nice touch. Fantastic experience. Our room had a little garden with a spectacular view over the infinity pool to mykonos town and the sunset. Breakfast has never been so versatile. Super service. Reception thinks along. 10 minutes walk to the old harbor (and if you want free pickup service back from the old harbor). Free transport to and from the new port or airport. And also a top restaurant. As top every evening a view of the enchanting sunset!!! Absolutely recommended!!!

Beautiful sunsets, attentive staff and great food. Recently stayed there and became unwell during the my visit, the staff were so accommodating and helpful. They got a doctor to see me in literally 5 minutes and we’re so pleasant to deal with. On top of that, I have to say the pool and view was magical, generally the higher you go from town means the tougher the journey or walk home, this was perfect as was literally just at the start of the hill and didn’t feel much of an uphill battle but you get all the benefits of the sunsets and view of the town. Would happily stay again and recommend.

The villa is an exceptional choice, location, amenities and most importantly, the staff at this resort made the entire stay special! It was truly amazing and hard to leave the wonderful people here. To think that we almost skipped Mykonos during our vacation through Greece, what a huge mistake that would have been. Thank you Vencia hotel staff for an absolutely amazing stay and service. Hope to see you all again soon.

Can not think of anything to change. The restaurant was fabulous, the pool is incredible and as wonderful as that all is, the staff is what makes this place unforgettable.

Vencia was a great place to stay in Mykonos and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting, or for us to stay again. The pool has an amazing sunset view and plenty of comfortable lounges, the food (including breakfast) and drinks were great, and the whole team were very friendly and helpful, giving us some really good recommendations, arranging a quad bike, transfers, and enquiring about activities for us. It’s nice and quiet around the hotel, but only a 5-10 minute walk into the centre of the town. The room was clean, with plenty of space and comfortable beds. We can’t wait to come back.

Staying in Vencia from start to end was nothing short of perfect! When we arrived we were greeted by concierge and informed of all the great local activities in area and received a welcome drink. Our terrace was gorgeous and looked over Mykonos town! This really was the highlight. Each night I watched the sunset over the water from the comfort of my own room. I loved watching the ferries come and go from port. The pool was spectacular and clean and just a lovely atmosphere. It was a short walk of 8-10 minutes into the centre of town. It was nice to be so close to town yet also enjoy the calm environment and pool at the hotel.I never wanted to leave this hotel! When I come back to Mykonos I won’t consider staying anywhere else! This is my highlight stay having been in many European, American, Asian and Australian cities!

The location of this place is the best :) The view from the pool is unbelievable - it's magical to watch the sunset from there. The infinity pool is amazing, the rooms are nice and comfortable - we had a nice balcony with a beautiful view from Mykonos. It's also super easy to walk from the hotel to Mykonos town - less than 10min. And is a nice pleasant walk.

There was one lady at the reception that wasn't friendly at all! Which is a surprise for us, because we have been travelling to many Greek islands and one thing for sure: everybody has been so friendly and welcoming, except for this hotel. There was also a full body mirror missing in the bedroom! This was disappointing given the room was so nice. There is also a vibe missing in the swimming pool area - they have nice bed lounges and the best view, they should play nice music to create a vibe. Is very nice to spend the day at the pool, but very quiet and no vibe.

This was a fabulous hotel. I booked ocean view suite Room #129. It was perfect. Very spacious with a living room area and balcony and the bathroom was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. I find that many beds in Europe have really uncomfortable stiff mattresses even at expensive places. The suite had AC in both the living room and the bedroom and it was the split type AC's where you can control the temperature with a remote control. It worked very well. The shower had really strong pressure and was fabulous. They had a safe and also fridge where you could put drinks as well as a little freezer area in the fridge. We had a balcony as well but didn't use it much as we preferred to go down to the pool area. But the view from our suite was incredible. I'll post a few photos. ALL my interactions with the hotel were fabulous. They did a great job. They started the trip off right by sending a driver for us and he picked us up in a Mercedes van. Very friendly. They also had him bring us down to the port area at the end of our 4 night trip. The hotel had a complementary breakfast each morning. It had a decent assortment. I wouldn't say it was anything too special. They also had a restaurant that we ate at one night and had a decent meal.

We had the Kynthia suite and it is a beautiful room with a lovely big terrace. It looks exactly like the picture on the website. Breakfast was exceptional. You order your mains from a menu and then help yourself to all the fixings at a buffet. To be honest there was enough at the buffet for a complete breakfast. Offerings included yogurt, nuts, fruit, meats, salmon, cakes and much more. The mains you could order included eggs benedict, pancakes etc. All this while enjoying the wonderful views this hotel offers from it's perch above the town.

As others will mention, it's a steep walk down to the town and a hotter steeper walk back up! But my biggest beef was the shower. It had no place to put things. No shelf for your soap or shampoo or the little loofa pad they give you, I had to keep putting things down on the shower floor. And because of the size and placement of the shower door you couldn't even reach out and put this on the counter. It just ticks me off that so much attention was spent on esthetics but they left out this one practicality.

From the service from the staff to the amazing views to the delicious breakfast buffet to the clean and tidy rooms, Vencia Boutique Hotel made our honeymoon so memorable! The location is so great - you can get to town in less than 10 minutes by foot. This hotel also has the most amazing views of Mykonos town! Definitely recommend enjoying the sunset views from the on-site restaurant. The staff go above and beyond to provide service and are so helpful. The breakfast buffet has so many options and a la carte egg options too. The infinity pool area is stunning with views of the Mykonos town and super comfy cabanas to lounge in.
