I ended up staying here for 27 nights. It's quiet;the cottages are spacious; and the beds and linens are divine. It's a quick 2-minute walk to the beach. Very minimal incline. The property is by no means Dubai-type luxury, but it's basic, simple and good for Grenada. There was always someone on duty at reception to pick up the phone after 1 ring. That's a sign of a well managed property. And the staff at reception was always very helpful, including helping me find a dentist. After a few mornings of very slow breakfasts in the hotel restaurant I decided to prepare my own breakfasts and dinners in my unit's very well equipped kitchen. Large grocery store is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The "sister" hotel(Spice Island Hotel) on the beach offers exquisite meals -and I ate many lunches there.Everything "homemade".Obvious experienced chef.Homemade soups. I did not try Blue Horizon's restaurant for lunch or dinner. The wi-fi coverage was consistently good. I slept with windows open, and ceiling fan running. Overall,a flawless vacation.Wonderful property.

I can see no areas of operation that need improvement.Everything works well, and the staff is great.

I love the location of this beautiful gem. It's very close to the famous Grand Anse beach and Morne Rouge beach. The nearest supermarket is also very close too which was very convenient. This garden resort is very beautiful and is a home away from home. I much prefer places like this as I am not a fan of big chain hotels as I feel these spoil the island experience. I would highly recommend this lovely gem if you are looking for somewhere peaceful and quiet with the amenities close by. This place is very good for families as the rooms are big enough to accommodate a family of 4. I will definitely be returning here again.

The only downside which is not a major one is that the television didn't work properly in my room as the picture was grainy. This is not important though as the main purpose of a holiday is to go out and explore the island.

A very clean, well maintained resort with incredibly friendly and hospitable staff. On our first day, reclining by the pool, the owner, Arnold, came over to speak to us and welcome us - knew it was our first day and our room number, amazing . Although the main restaurant was closed during our stay ( Covid), the food at the pool bar/restaurant was good and a good choice of cocktails for pool-side relaxation. Arnold also came to speak to us on our penultimate day, knowing we were leaving the following day, a nice touch and a reinforcement of the clearly customer focused spirit throughout.

Our choice entirely - we had asked for a sea view which meant we were located high up on the hillside in the resort - 20 years ago this would not have been a problem but now in my 70's and quite a few lbs more of me, a lot of steps took some time to recover from - a garden view with minimal steps would be my choice these days so be warned.

The property was beautiful and had a lovely garden and swimming pool. It was also well-located and was in walking distance to many restaurants. We arrived very late because our plane was delayed by 3 hours. The person at reception was very helpful because she advanced us money to pay our taxi from the airport (no ATMS at the airport). She also arranged for us to have a light dinner brought to our cottage.

Food was very over-priced. For example, a mediocre breakfast cost C$40 each. Second, we had dinner in the restaurant. But because the kitchen was a long way away the food was lukewarm by the time it reached us. Nor was it particularly good. It was also more expensive than meals at the 4-star resort next door, where we ate several times. Another problem was that the phone in our room stopped working after 3 days. When we reported the problem several times during the rest of our stay, no one seemed to know why it was not being repaired. This was a serious issue because we are an older couple and our cottage was at the far end of the resort and had we needed help during the night we would not have been able to communicate by phone.

We just returned from a very enjoyable 2 week stay at the Blue Horizons Garden Resort. We stayed in a one-bedroom partial ocean view suite. It was very comfortable and the layout was excellent. The kitchen is well equipped with a modern, good-sized fridge and gas stove and all the necessary cutlery, utensils, pots and pans, etc. There is also a toaster, kettle and coffee maker. Coffee and tea aren't supplied, but we had brought our own, so that wasn't a problem. There is a table and chairs for dining inside, as well as a table and chairs on the balcony where we ate while enjoying the view and fresh air. The suites are accessed by outside stairs, so if stairs are a problem, then mention this and request a lower level or a garden apartment when making a reservation. Everyone working at the hotel was cheerful and helpful (as was the case with everyone we met in Grenada). The hotel grounds were beautiful with lots of flowers and trees. The pool and lounge chairs looked good, though we never used it because we had come for the beach which was nearby. We ate dinner at the hotel three times and the food was very good and not expensive. Grand Anse Beach is about 5 minutes walk away. The beach is a couple of kilometres long and the water was about 28 degrees when we were there. We were always able to find some shade by some trees when we were at the beach. For a change, we also went a couple of times to Morne Rouge and Portici Beaches which were a 15 and 30 minute walk from the hotel. There is a mall with a well stocked grocery store within a 10 minute walk of the hotel. The grocery store has a very good take-out counter with a large variety of food at very reasonable prices. We often bought food there and brought it back to our apartment for lunch or dinner. St. George's is a short minibus ride away.

Fabulous location 4 minutes from Grand Anse beach. The hotel gardens are stunning and there's lots of bird life. Our chalet was in a great spot with partial sea views. The living room was a good size, the kitchen was well equipped and the shower room was modern, The bed was comfortable, if a little firm for us. Great value for money.

Cynthia, the receptionist, made me feel very comfortable. She came over as a very caring person. All staff I interacted with were pleasant and went out of their way to help. The kitchenette was beyond my expectation. It is well appointed and the appliances are top notch.

The shower stall leaked onto the toilet area..

The Gardens were very beautiful and well kept and the rooms were great with good quality appliances. Staff was very friendly and helpful and price was good.🙂

Great place to stay. The only drawback was getting to the beach. Although the beach was close by there was another favourite smaller beach which was a little further away. It would of been good to have a shuttle service.
