Forum Hotel

I had trouble with the trains due to a technical issue in the MAV lines and I arrived 6h later than expected. I communicated with the Hotel staff who quickly responded with the new arrangements to meet my new requirements. They were very helpful and understanding and if I ever have to go back to Szombathely, it is very clear that I will stay again with them. The location was pristine, the rooms were cozy and modern. The bathrooms were well equipment and clean. I was very happy with my choice. Keep up the good work!

We only stayed one night but it was absolutely great! The location is very convenient, right next to the main square, it's possible to walk or take a bus from the train station. Breakfast was delicious and our room very spacious and clean with comfy beds and nice furniture. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone staying in Szombathely!

There wasn't anything we didn't like. I think there wasn't any elevator (or I didn't notice it), which might be inconvenient, if you have to carry heavy bags. But it was totally fine for us (we stayed on the first floor).

Thank you for making our stay enjoyable :) nice hotel, with clean and comfortable rooms. Everything needed was available, including free parking at the back of hotel and tasty breakfast. Staff was very helpful. Location of the hotel was perfect, in the center of the gorgeous old town. The only disappointment was... that we could stay only one night :( we will get back for sure for a longer visit. I can highly recommend Forum Hotel and the Szombathely city.

Wonderfully convenient hotel beside main square close to the Isis temple, the Romkert ruins, the bank, cafes. I liked having a ground floor room, since this small hotel has no elevator. I ate twice at their restaurant which was good value and had fish and vegetarian selections (I don't eat meat or chicken).

My room was small, but big enough.

The bathroom needs some shelves for guests' wash bags and cosmetics. Another rail is needed for towels as the radiator is only enough for one. Parking is a serious issue, due to a misunderstanding we have parking fine!

Very central location in Szombathely. Nice modern rooms decently sized. Shops and restaurants nearby. Did not eat at the hotel, but food looked nice and there were some customers. Overall recommended.

Beds a bit soft, no elevator (my gf had a bad leg, so had trouble walking up the stairs). There was some confusion since we were coming with bicycles. We wrote beforehand to ask if there was a storage place for the bikes and were told that there was a secure space. When we got there, we were shown a super old bike rack that was right on the street. After we were debating what to do, they were friendly enough to let us put our bikes in a fenced off area of the hotel.

Breakfast and dinner were great, hotel looked glamorous, kids corner at the restaurant was a good help, location right in the centre of nice town, kind staff waiting with a meal for our bit later arrival.

Only limited parking options provided by the hotel, but there are public parking places nearby.

The property is a very good standard, i had beautiful, comfortable modern room with all facilities in very good condition and working...:) The staff was very polite and helpful. The cleanliness was the main noticeable point. Even the bathroom drinking/toothbrush glasses were perfectly clean. In some 5 stars hotels you would not get that and I travelled a lot and stayed in some very overpriced places. All together, my opinion is that this is the great place to stay, just beside the main square, taxi stop just opposite the entrance. Will go there again.

Good hotel close to the main square of the city and walkable to monuments. Train station is 20 minutes walking. The hotel is in a nice building, the room was big with view to the town hall ans its square and was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was very good. Good wifi. Nice staff. In the area you can find places to eat, besides the hotel restaurant.

Nice place very close to the Fountain square. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The self service breakfast was various, We were lucky to find a parking place just near the hotel. There is a hotel's restaurant also.
