Quality Inn VIHA

Really amazing staff, my friend was unwell and they helped us get the medicines from the pharmacy. Also it's in prime location. The hotel did arrange for taxi service around nearby locations. Food served was good. The rooms were bright and clean. Its one of the best places we stayed so far in our South India tour completely value for money.

Everything was good

The rooms were good ,comfortable and value for money .we stayed from 30sep- 3oct 22, ordered room service for north indian veg dinner -The food was very good and super quick service(kadhai paneer,dal tadka, aloo jeera, butter Naan etc.). Check in and check out was hassle free.

I had booking from 30sep to 4oct and had paid full booking amount in advance,however due to change of plans I had to checkout on 3rd early morning at 7am and requested hotel if they could give me some discount on my food bills in Lieu of checking out a day early as it was 1 day tariff loss for me...I understand it was an exception request however I wud hv been delighted even if I wud hv got anywhere between 25-50% discount on food bill(very small amount) just as goodwill gesture...not a complain but I feel if accomodated it wud hv been great.

Breakfast we could not have as we had to leave early morning to visit the temple and though we requested for some snacks to be packed but unfortunately night receptionist not kept the message with the front desk official next day early morning. We were served coffee. Rest of the experience was great and we'll stay again next time.

Clean and well maintained

Have to ask for many things - room slippers, hand towels, tooth brushes … Though all were provided when asked for. Also, when the room is booked for double occupancy- only one set of amenities were kept. On day 2 - they “forgot” to clean our room. Has to call house keeping after we returned in the evening and got it done.

Them Rooms were a good size and clean. Comfy beds. Staff helpful. Anand in the restaurant was excellent. Location was also good and there is parking. The on site restaurant is great. Food was very good.

The bathroom could have been a bit better. The lounge bar was ok but only served strong beer which was not great for me. Front desk could do with a bit of improvement in terms of greeting and pleasantness.

The building, rooms and facilities were new and well kept. .

The staff however didn't appear trained for a 4 star service and no one seemed eager to help and needed to be prompted. When I called room service to order from their 24 hr menu the lady said they're only prepared to serve hot beverages. When I called a second time and reminded them that this was a 24 hour line they magically were ready to take my order.

I stayed in this place for 3rd time in a year. Consistent service, Friendly staff and the attitude towards customer service is great. I will continue to visit every year until I see a glitch and hope I dont

Cant think of anything beyond my flexibility

Excellent place to stay and very good food with an in-house restaurant. Do not expect continental flavours, but fresh Indian cuisines are available. Nice breakfast spread is something you can look forward to. Staff were always available for quick help. Overall I recommend this place to stay.

Well maintained, strategically located.

Since this is a pilgrim centre, and tourists come mainly to visit temples, it is better to have two restaurants i.e one Veg and one Non Veg. We didn't have any food at the restaurant as it is a mixed one.

Good upscale hotel in the temple town. Well appointed rooms with standard facilities, including covered parking.

The attached restaurant Annalakshmi serves both veg and non-veg. Veg food Does not conform to Kumbakonam standards but tastes more like chennai city type. Offers good breakfast buffet spread.
