Radisson Medan

The breakfast came with reasonable selection but a little below expectation. The location is close to the 3 major malls viz Centrepoint, DeliPark & Sun Plaza. However, it is preferable for you to use a grab or taxi to go the these places as I didn't notice any proper pedestrian walkways that lead to the malls. On a Thursday night, there was a live band which was pretty enjoyable.

Although the road trip to the airport was not reletated to the hotel, the journey to the airport by Grab was a big put-off. The grab driver took a route through a village that looked like a slump with very a narrow and crowded road and basically had to honk his way through for close to an hour. The hotel should voice out to the tourism sector to avoid such a route to the airport else tourists would probably not return for another visit to Medan City.

We loved staying here. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. We recieved a free upgrade of our room and a complementary welcome drink. The rooms were equipped with everything we needed and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay so much that we came back for a second stay. The wifi was also good. It is a 10 minute walk to the mall, which we also enjoyed.

The rooms are starting to feel a bit dated. Our toilet was leaking a bit from behind. To keep the amazing experience, I think upkeep and modernisation is important.

The staff were very attentive and polite. I loved the interior fragrance which was so refreshing and zen after visiting bustling Medan. A weighing scale in the bathroom was tops!

The room service menu needs more variety. Also there should be a second breakfast option. Not everybody likes or wants a buffet. Simple toast, jam, butter and yogurt would be great. The spa was not very organised with their bookings. The aircon was noisy and the temperature could not be controlled as it was central aircon.

Not a good selection from the 24Hr room service (Food) that they provided. Pretty pricey too! Each dish is about SGD 8-9, fit for one. Toilet sink was faulty when I arrived but they fixed it promptly and even offered a room change. Also, no breakfast provided - Just a heads up for those who don’t read the services included portion before booking. Otherwise, like what everyone has said here already, roads get pretty noisy late at night and early in the morning so just beware. Nothing they can do really.

Room clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities in room consider complete, iron, iron board, multi head switch, is really helpful for traveller so can use different country head directly without adapter. Price is reasonable and value for money.

Lift is slow. Bed is too soft or spring got problem. I experience back ache after sleeping. 2nd floor swimming pool area has bad smoking smell. Surrounding area is noisy, early morning and until late night noisy music is on loudly that disturb rest and work.

Always love their cleaness and hospitality ,the staff ,all front officer and there is one name lydia (if im not wrong) was very very nice and helpfull to fullfill my request, the staff from the security, room boy, restaurant , pool and fitness centre very2 helpfull and friendly I like everything and always back to this hotel everytime i visit medan city

The hotel is next to a petrol station, which is easy access to sundries and a walking distance to a nice coffee shop called Dominico. It's also near to Sun Plaza mall. Oh i super love their bed and pillow! It's suprisingly comfy and I had a good night sleep throughout my stay there. The staffs were great and very kind. The wifi is smooth too.

In the suit room, theres so many windows. And bathroom is great. And they give us fruit basket. Breakfast is awesome, they even have european cheese.

They said its a smoking room, but when i enter theres notes that say no smoking and price for penalty. Next day after i complain they remove the notes, but i got sick with flu in the room. I dont know if i got it there or outside so i dont blame them for it but i dont feel like coming back again. Nothing personal.

Very good breakfast and caring staff, a shout out to Febri, Yohana, Erwin on the front desk. I enjoyed the pool and rain shower. The interior of the hotel was nice. A very nice price for the room. 10 minutes taxi ride to the excellent airport train.

The aircon in the room was not so good. The coolest I could get the room was 25c. Also, the air con control could not be adjusted.

The staff were the best!!! They were superbly friendly and helpful!! They allow me to leave my luggage there after check out before my flight and I can come and collect later before I leave to the airport. The staff were superbly friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The room was exactly the way it’s booked. Hotel is very near to most places and there’s a good coffee shop nearby. They serve free flow cold drinks and snacks at the lobby.
