Karma Kayak

The property was very stylish, welcoming and had a great pool and beachfront area too. The staff were really lovely and helpful. We were able to rent bikes for a really good price per day and the food menu is really good; especially for vegetarians and vegans!

The only downside to the property is that it is quite far away from the port, approx 25 mins which was far to walk with heavy backpacks. You are able to get a horse and cart which is the main form of transport on the island, ethically I didn’t want to do this but if you are okay with that then the location is less of a problem.

We loved everything about the hotel. The location is perfect, it is very silent, far from any party place. It has the best snorkeling point on the island, still it is not crowded. Everything in the room is well maintained, they clean the room every day. They give you drinking water which was a very nice gesture. The breakfast was very good, and we could choose from a lot of options. The food is very well prepared, we enjoyed every meal we had there. The whole staff was really kind and helpful. My wife had Bali belly and did not feel well. The owner was really helpful, she gave us good advice about what to do and even offered to call a doctor if needed. Thank you so much again, we really appreciated it 🥰.

There was nothing we did not like.

We loved the way the hotel blended in with the natural surroundings. We were so happy to have our meals by the sea with our feet in the sand. There are soft lights and candles in the evening with the sound of the sea as the only music. We had all our meals at the hotel as the food was superb and such a lovely presentation. Friendly and smiling staff. The Karma Kayak is made up of 9 spacious bungalows with a large veranda each with a view of a beautiful exotic garden. The hotel is on the other side of the island to the Port, which you reach by a 15 min horse chart ride. A great please to relax!

Nice and quiet place, the room was spacious and nice, right near the beach. For sure we recommend to take a Ferrari (horse) from the harbour to the accomodation. There were a lot of turtles every day in the sea and a coral reef is also there and of course crystal clear water. The breakfast righ on the beach was delicious. The restaurant is also very good. The staff arrange for us horse and also boat from the harbour on the day of our departure, which was great.

During the low tide it is very uncomfortable to go swim -- it is possible to get to the deep water but hardly (after 4 p.a. during our visit). But this is the only small negative. Everything else was perfect - a small paradise ;).

great location. The hotel is far from the entertainment center of the island, which for me was an advantage. Renting a bike is an absolute must if you want to get around the island efficiently. The neighborhood is quiet. Beautiful sea. Daily swimming with turtles surrounded by fabulously colorful fish (snorkeling mask can be rented). 10 minutes by bicycle to pubs with summer cinema on the beach, 15 minutes by bicycle to the center of the island. Rooms large, bright. So clean that once I walked into the glass :) beach towels available, a smug terrace. Breakfast tasty, but with a very limited repertoire. Almost every day was not available, what I wanted to order.

There is salt water in the pool. I don't like it, but there are different tastes. The pool is not very attractive, but I also do not rate it as negatively as it appears in other descriptions. The staff has organizational problems: I was not able to rent a bicycle through the hotel, I had to do it on my own. I was not able through the hotel to order transportation to the marina on the day of return, I had to do it on my own....

the staff was very nice and in general it was nice and clean

too basic to be that expensive mosquito net was broken so we had mosquitoes during the night

beautiful stylish modern BoHo Dutch design. set on the quieter side of the island, by the beach in perfect place for quiet sunrise and sunset. I saw turtles close to the beach every day and tropical fish. Delicious food, healthy and generous breakfast with fresh fruit, freshly pressed fruit juice, coffee or tea and a hot food option too. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was clean, well designed. and well maintained. I was sorry to leave after 5 days

I loved it

Really amazing Place in the north part of the Island. I stayed in the ocean view room which is spacious, stylish, clean and with a little Bit ocean View :) the staff has a very good Spirit. Breakfast is good but not enough for the day

Breakfast could be more comprehensive. The Price for the room is really high. There are lot of people from other accomodations who use the sunbeds of Karma Kayak. So for their own guest could be difficult to find a sunbed with umbrella. But staff will help

Staff & service were great. Comfy bed. Nicely located on the quieter side of the island.

Our booking implied we’d be on the ground floor rooms but we were checked into one slightly different. The only other issue was the construction right next to our room - this should be noted on booking as it goes all day from 9am to 5pm, we wouldn’t have booked had we known.

For me it's the best location on Gili T.. If you want to party, then it's not for you but if you like to watch sea turtles during breakfast, swim and snorkel in the morning and enjoy a gorgeous sun-set, don't look any further. The rooms are as beautiful as on the pictures and the staff is ljust lovely.

It would be great to have the option to rent snorkel gear directly at the place. You can rent it very close by, so not a big issue, rather a suggestion.
