Dupa Ubud Villa

Adi was a fantastic host. Very friendly and helpful staff. The pool was also a nice bonus.

There's a property close by with a lot of chickens that start making a lot of noise in the morning. Bring ear plugs if you stay in the end unit. It would be much quieter in other villas, but I was on the end villa closest to the adjacent property with the chickens.

loved being next to rice fields and the gully, the pool was lovely overlooking the jungle. Room was spacious with windows on 3 sides and good curtains. Bathroom was enormous and good having separate toilet. Breakfast was substantial but you have to say what you want the night before. Staff friendly and helpful. Had a great warung just across the road - Bintangbali for lunch and dinner. Didnt want to leave. We stayed in the cottages without private pool, but had the shared pool all to ourselves.

No drinking water in the room or glasses. They did fill our bottle when asked at breakfast. The end room near pool could be noisy as there is a poultry farm nearby.

The property was great! The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was wonderful and always ready to help, even providing food for the fish pond to the kids. We traveled with multiple families and got to use both private and community pools which were beautiful and deeper than they looked. The location was great because it was out of the business of Ubud but still had many restaurants and spas within walking distance, while still being able to get to Ubud with a quick car ride.

Lovely spacious villa, nice restaurants around and only 10min scooter ride into ubud centre. Rice fields, ducks, and small koi fish river outside the Villa is peaceful.

The kitchen equipment was majorly lacking...No kettle or saucepan to boil water. No pans to cook at all despite having gas hob. No washing up liquid or soap. No bowls. Very basic and limited, could easily be improved for a more convenient and functional stay :) Also check in was slow, could use information already given about guests via booking.com rather than us having to write it all down on arrival.

Our stay was exceptionally great with the help of Negeh Salamat who took care of our breakfast with a smile during our stay.She instructed other workers to meet our requests, which were minor and few. The pool was great and we enjoyed our dips on hot days which was everyday. The room was clean and house keeping was remarkable. In case someone needs to be driven around, ask for Kadek. He knows Ubud and other places very well. He will suggest to you the places you may not have heard of.Try him with day trip to some of the well known places at a very nominal fee.

Dupa was the real definition of home away from home….the staff was very pleasant and accommodating to all our requests. When we had activities in mind, Adi and team were on hand to get us the best deals and transportation. Adi was accomodative getting us settled in when we realised the room we had booked was too small for the three of us, all while pricing us fairly and offering some discounts here and there Leaving was bittersweet and we will definitely be coming back. We had a lovely 5 night stay and we were sad to leave. Staff were so friendly and helpful. I loved wood house 4 and all the surrounds. Great value for money and the food was amazing. We actually had a lot of put meals at Dupa Warung as it was great food and great value. Nyoman is an amazing chef and went above and beyond to nourish us and catered vegetarian for me. He also shared some of his knowledge on cooking and taught us about Jamu 🙏 Adi is very welcoming and helped us with bike and places to see. So grateful to all of the team at Dupa Villas Bali. We can't wait to stay again. Sukseme

We loved everything but just advise that it is a little out from Ubud centre but that was what we wanted as we ride scoopy. Also if stairs are an issue for you please book downstairs, again no problem for us. 10 out 10 for Dupa Villas Bali

The breakfast and location were great. The staff were SUPER helpful and accommodating. They took into account our preferences and timings and arranged everything accordingly. Mr Nyuman (the chef who had a background with cruises) was super helpful in arranging other things around Ubud (scooter etc) and also helped with yummy meals taking into account our preferences. They also accommodated our (very late?) breakfast that they totally did not have to do but it was a very pleasant surprise to get the breakfast at 2 PM (after a long Mt Batur sunrise trek in the morning.

Everything was great. The only minor (and i mean very minor) issue is the distance/route to the pool from the basic cottage rooms. You have to descend a flight of stairs and walk across a few suites to get to it. But this was a minor inconvenience.

Top place to stay!

VPN (IPsec)-friendly and stable WiFi. Very comfortable and scenic rooms, nice and large breakfast. All facilities were in good working order. The owner and his staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I could rent a scooter directly from the property, and the owner even bought with his own expense for the scooter a mobile phone holder (it did not have one), just because I asked for it. The room was very clean and was made every day. The views from the common veranda on the first floor are really cool.

Unfortunately, there was some traffic noise and also some animal-related noise during the nights. However, with earplugs it was no a big issue for me. Another thing is that the location is ca. 3-4 km from central Ubud, meaning that one needs a transportation medium. A rented scooter or some local taxi service solves this problem easily.
