Masia Villa

The hotel is in a small street, looking over rice fields. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place is clean and quiet. It was nice to sit at our front porch and enjoy the view of the rice fields. The hotel's location is also within walking distance of the bazaar, the museum, the palace and the Ubud ridge walk.

The hotel is not accessible by cars. We had to rely on the hotel staff to take our luggage to and from the hotel on scooters. However, the scooter service was readily available when needed and it was free of charge.

great location. Kajeng rice field walk at your doorstep, and Ubud central is a 10min’s walk away (or a 1min scooter ride). I love the personal pool. the staff are friendly and helpful!

the roosters 😬 they will start to wake you up at 5am. the residential lizards too, and the few ants here and there. it’s expected as the resort is situated in padi field. as the resort is not accessible by car, it is a little inconvenient especially if you booked a tour. you have to arrange with the driver to pick you up at the main road. the breakfast can be better too.

Perfect location with beautiful rural setting yet walkable to town - we walked all over and we think this was the best location! (Note they also can pick you up which is a great service) Nice large bedrooms with bug porch area, tastefully decorated - loved the outdoor bathroom Pool and gardens Lovely, helpful staff

Would be good to have tea and coffee in the rooms or at least in a shared area Maybe could do with wider variety of food on the restaurant menu It is hard to fault much else

beautiful villa overlooking the rice paddies on a lovely scenic walk through rice paddies to central Ubud.. very comfortable bed and out door shower. The staff were so friendly, I wish I knew all their names . You can walk to central Ubud in 10-15 mins max or they will take you anytime 24hr by scooter.. a huge hit for our 8yr old boy Dylan, thanks to Wayan and all the staff .. ps a very authentic open style simple restaurant overlooking the beautiful rice paddies.. really loved it!

Staff is always smiled, helpful, take care of you. They give you always a ride by the scooter to reach Ubud center. I recommend when you want to have a place where you do not hear sounds of Ubud main street and close to rice tarraces.

I would clean the bathtube (quick clean up with the pressure washer) and exchange light switches, Look at the photos. I like sitting at the tarrace in the evening, please bare in mind the the tarrace is next to sidewalk which leads to other villas. As a little improvement I would install something between tarrace and sidewalk (fence, smth Green) as people crossing your villa looking at you. The same with the swimming pool.

The villa is located outside central Ubud and can only be accessed by a bike, or a very long walk. The staff will drop you in town and pick you up as required. The location is quiet and picturesque, the villa is very comfortable, the staff are helpful and the breakfasts are good.

If the staff are transporting guests to Ubud, there is no staff at reception. Not a big issue but we had to wait around for the staff to return if we need to speak with someone. The only meal available at the villas is breakfast, you need to order other meals and get them delivered to the villas. Our 2 bedroom villa didn't have a lounge area, only a dining room with a table & chairs.

The stay was a kilometer north of the main street off any road and amongst the rice fields. It was old Bali - with hot water. Good sized rooms, spotless as always in Bali. Great setting for breakfast. A breakfast which kept you going for most of the day. Woke to the sounds of chickens. The staff happy to transport you on a scooter any time. Used WhatsApp for a pick up. Scooters were a worry at first but we were there for nine days and it was serious fun for old folk like us. Very safe and convenient. Importantly you are away from the noise and bustle that is the centre of town. Staff were super friendly. Nothing was any trouble. There are only a dozen units here which gave the place a homely feel where the staff quickly knew you.

The location is great. Overall nice facilities. The staff was super nice and picks you up and drops you off at two different locations.

Abit out of their hands but as everywhere here, there are alot of ants, they fought them and as a result alot of dead ants are in the room.

The place was amazing and the staff excellent. The villa is al bit outside the city center, enough to be away from all the noises and traffic but only 10 minutes be walk from city center. The villa is not accessible by car so no noise at all, but the staff members were very polite to drive us with the motorbikes to and from the city any time we needed. One day we needed to have an early start and they drives us at 4:30 to find our driver in the city center. We totally recommend the place and we are definitely coming back.
