We had the same room as our trip a year ago, which made us smile. Ideally Temple Bar wouldn't be our choice of business, but Blooms is solidly built and therefore quiet. We also found quieter pubs nearby which added to our willingness to repeat staying here.

I seem to recall this on our previous stay, the bathroom drains are slow. And the internet cut out, but since we weren't there for hotel time and internet use it wasn't much of an issue except to stream music. Yes, that's our own issue.

Brilliant location, just a few steps from Temple Bar. Room was very clean and tidy and was very surprised we had a balcony

The water was not very hot during the weekend, but it was on Monday. Guess you need to get up early if you want a hot shower, before everyone else uses it.

The staff was amazing from the wonderful girl at the desk to Parmesh the Bar manager that made our visit wonderful. The location was perfect to be close to everything and in walking distant. We flew in early and the staff did everything in their power to get us in rooms to be able to lay down. That was fabulous!!

The shower curtain in the tubs is absolutely terrible! It is filthy, sticks to you when you shower, and is just gross. Something better needs to be done. Also, the air flow in the rooms is awful, there is no circulation and when you take a shower no fan so the whole room turns into a hot box and makes it extremely difficult to get ready.

Location was excellent for exploring the surroundings. Quick and easy access to public transport. The breakfast provided was excellent and more than enough. Great value for money. The VAT Bar downstairs provided an excellent opportunity to have a final drink before bedtime.

Some confusion regarding the breakfast which we requested as take away one morning. The dining hall was locked so could not access our food. Had an issue regarding the cleaning of the room, the bed was made but no extra coffee, sugar or milk was put out and the dirty mugs were not cleaned. I reported this and I was told to go myself to the bar to ask for clean mugs.

Location was brilliant just at the edge of Temple Bar, 5 minute walk to Irish Whiskey Museum. Tesco right outside. The rooms were quite small but very clean and had everything that we needed - kettle for tea or coffee, plenty of room in the wardrobe.

The only thing that annoyed us was that our room was right outside the fans that were towards the back of the building, those fans were very noisy throughout the day and night but somehow we managed to sleep as we were tired. Not all of the rooms have fans outside the window, we were just unlucky to get the room literally next to the fans.

Reception were great we got there early but our room was ready on arrival so was a quick check in .The bar was great.Staff were polite and friendly the acts that were on were also fantastic.Great location to either start your night or end your night as it wasnt busy like the bars closer to the centre of temple bar .Location was good as it was close enough to everything but not directly right in the centre of it all.

Nothing I could complain about. For the price I paid I was a little worried but turned out to be great a great

Location was great, central to easily access all main attractions. We paid for breakfast however did not get to enjoy this as we had booked early trips , however they did provide us with a packed lunch to take with us (toastie, yogurt, apple no water/drink though) tea coffee facilities in room were good however there were no teaspoons? Receptionist was not really very welcoming when you arrived/left the hotel and despite us looking for a map around the reception for 10 min he could have easily advised where to get this however just sat behind the desk saying nothing and watched us looking for this.

Friendly reception more accommodating and welcoming

Nice hotel, nice bar, friendly staff, excllent location

The room was too cold, even with the heating on full power. No wonder however, when the wind blows against a non-isolating singleglass window

Location and staff excellent. Bar also very good if you were lucky enough to catch it open.

Hotel Wifi was poor One of the main reasons for booking this hotel was because it had a bar within the hotel and we wanted to be able to enjoy a late night drink at the end of the day. Despite being advertised as open every day it turned out the bar did not open Mondays or Tuesdays and when we returned after a day out around 11:30pm on Wednesday we were told that they had already stopped serving. 'Club M' in the basement is also now closed. We did finally get a drink in the bar on Friday lunchtime before leaving for the airport and it was a pleasant experience, staff and ambiance making it so.

The staff was great. The location was great. A big, hearty breakfast is available on site, at extra charge. The Vat House down below was our favorite pub in Temple Bar, with a great staff and some of the better music around. However, what people say about the noise outside is correct, but that's not the fault of the hotel--it's the consequence of being in the center of the craic. Although, we were there in the middle of what Ireland calls a "heat wave" at 26C/78F, so we had to have the windows open all night...with the windows shut it was reasonably quiet. Do bring ear plugs to ensure the best night's sleep, but don't let it keep you away from this excellent hotel in the center of it all!
