swimming pool - amazing bonus, access to the gym (unfortunately didn’t get to use it with tight schedule) super valu just across the road and noticed tons of diners around the corner…. fantastic location ohhhh and the breakfast was soooo good, great range of products and pastries were so fresh - I regret we didn’t get to have dinner

we definitely missed having a mini fridge in the room, travelling with kids is pretty challenging at times and I think a mini fridge especially in family rooms would be a great addition I couldn’t find a toilet brush in the bathroom and again, travelling with the family can produce some surprises 😉

We could walk to town, stroll along the canal, and even had a nearby playground. The property includes a grocery store and shops for excellent convenience, especially important when traveling with a toddler. There was plenty of parking. Staff were super friendly and helpful! The building is beautiful. We were in one of the older rooms, but it was still really nice- large and comfy. We loved the breakfast and went to dinner at the bar twice! Delicious food in a super cozy atmosphere. We loved the pools and felt right at home. We have friends that live nearby and will certainly be staying again. We had a fantastic visit and felt at home.

Spacious, comfortable bed .very clean. All meals were very nice.

My wife did not like the fixed overhead shower. Poor lighting in ensuite. No Vanity mirror on dressing table. On our arrival Reception asked us to pay in full for the accommodation. Unknowingly to us we could no longer charge meals/drinks etc., we had pay each and ever time. Why pay 3eu for a head cap only to find when in the pool there are people NOT wearing caps. Arrived in changing area for a swimming to find padlock's are available at check in for 6eu why was this not mentioned when purchasing the head cap!

Lovely spacious room with a clean bathroom. Very comfortable bed with good quality, heavy duvets. Also, the room had Netflix on the TV which was great for entertaining the children on wet days, and a fan in the wardrobe had it been too warm…Both of these were nice, thoughtful additional features that aren’t available everywhere. Polite, helpful staff in the dining room at breakfast time…I was on crutches with two very young children, and the young waitress was very kind in carrying over drinks, breakfast etc.. even though it was a buffet breakfast where you help yourself…this kindness/helpfulness was so very much appreciated! The children also loved the pool facilities offered by the hotel which kept them busy on a particularly wet and stormy day during our stay. Proximity to Emerald Park was an added bonus…it’s only 30 minutes away. Dublin Zoo is not that far either. Great place for a family holiday.

The breakfast was very peppery…the sausages, mushrooms and pudding all tasted of pepper, which is not to everyone’s taste, particularly young children 🙈 The carpet had a few stains, which is to be expected in a family room, I suppose. Would be nice if the Kids Club was for all children, not just 4-10 year olds. Very poor view of the fans on the roof, which also blew smoke into the room when the windows were opened.

I had a little trouble contacting the spa so I spoke with reception who were above and beyond helpful. I happened to mention at the time it was my birthday and when we arrived their was a lovely welcome plate with some cake! (Thanks Megan!) We are from Dublin we wanted a night away with some amenities for a young family and this is perfect. The wee cafe onsite is a great option instead of bar or restaurant facilities. The pool is perfect for families. Lots of sections to keep the kids amused and some adult areas for minders to take shifts. The room was spacious and comfortable and breakfast was really good we enjoyed it. The location is perfect, you can walk through a car park to get to the main street where there are loads of bars and coffee shops. Theres also a big supervalu right beside it for room snacks or if you forget anything. We didn't get in the car at all and we saw most of Maynooth and ate out which was very cool. And home in 30 minutes There were really all sorts of groups, hen parties, family groups and a conference, lots of young families and older people it was a lovely mix. Overall I really liked the hotel, particularly the staff who all seemed friendly which always helps me enjoy my stay more.

There was no hairdryer in the room, that might be standard now but I could have used one. There are gendered changing rooms for the pool which wasn't ideal as my partner was going with our daughter and she wasn't comfortable on her own (the changing rooms are very big) however, the staff were really helpful and let them use a room for disabled but long term family cublicles would be great.

Was great value and to have free use of the swimming pool for our little girl was fantastic. Food was excellent and staff were absolutely 💯 welcoming and so helpful and friendly

Our only down fall was breakfast we couldn't find any trays to carry our breakfast up to table which wasn't near the breakfast bar so with a 19 month old child my partner had to do 4 trips up and down with plates tea coffee etc and one girl was wearing gloves the whole time we were there and never changed them once even after sneezing and rubbing her nose with gloves very unhygienic.

Staff was excellent we were able to get in our room a bit earlier which was great after travelling. A member of staff went above and beyond Marie helping me with my sons birthday arrangements. We were very grateful for all her help to make it a special night . Check out at 12pm was helpful as we had a later flight and at other hotels. It's usually at 10 am. Breakfast is an excellent choice in the hotel, and my son was also able to come from his home and eat with us at good value for money.

Breakfast was beautiful, hotel is lovely! Staff are very friendly. Location is brilliant very close to many activities within driving distance. Rooms were spacious and comfy.

I really liked everything. I think bar menu could be better bar style food. Still not a minus and food in the bar (light bites) were still nice. I really enjoy live music whether it’s a man with a guitar or anything simple for entertainment in a hotel bar so sit and relax when away which the bar does not do. Second time here so doesn’t stop be coming back but would be such a bonus to me continuously returning

The friendlyness of staff, especially Aimee on the desk,she went above and beyond,she came all the way out to my car and carried my heavy bag for me. She was there to help with any querie I had, always with a pleasent smile. I loved the fact there is an adult pool separate from the childrens one. I enjoyed all spa treatments. All the pool and spa staff make you feel at home at all time. I will be returning for sure.

The bar menu was the same as the restaurant, I rather a bar menu, that offers a range of sandwiches, eg; open, hot ,toasted. Neither sold soup for starter.

The location of this hotel is great. The lobby and bar areas are lovely. The cafe looked lovely but we didn't use it. There was a kids club which my 2 used for awhile on the Sunday. They enjoyed it. The kids got a little welcome bag which was lovely. The pool was lovely. Breakfast was good although it took awhile to get some maple syrup!! The food in the restaurant was very tasty.

The rooms and changing rooms at the pool could be cleaner. In our en suite there were a few hairs on the ground in the corner. The food in the restaurant was very expensive I felt although it was tasty. The restaurant could have been cleaner too. There were crumbs left on the chairs after others, etc. You can hear everything in the rooms.... People in their rooms and in the corridor
