it was clean and a Palestinian owned. staff was amazing and were always helpful I would definitely recommend.

We stayed for 6 nights. Location was great to Old City, about a 20 minute walk. Staff where very helpful, we especially loved Mohammed the young man who worked in the kitchen, he was so helpful every day and so kind to us. He went out of his way to make sure we were OK. There were shops and restaurants nearby, with an ATM across the road Staff were also amazing when I found out the night before that the next day was Yom Kippur, and that all the roads, transport and borders would be closed. They helped me get hold of the border to see if it was open and also arranged transport for me to get there so I wouldn't miss my flight from. Amman in Jordan. We really enjoyed our stay, thankyou for everything

The hotel is located on top of the Mount of Olives, a few steps away from the Chapel of the Ascension, a few dozen meters away from spectacular views of the Old City, and a few hundred meters away from the Garden of Gethsemane. The view from my room was spectacular. The staff were very kind and friendly, and the price was unbeatable ... although if you walk from Old Jerusalem, you really have to earn this discount... it's quite an uphill trek. Worth it if you ask me, but maybe it's not for everyone -- although you can take a bus or taxi. I found the place and its surroundings to be really cool and authentic, which -- and I understand that for some people this could be an inconvenience -- brings with it quite a bit of noise (mosque next door, lots of traffic, etc.) and less-than-clean streets. But I knew this in advance and it never bothered me. (I travel with earplugs.)

Location on the top of Mount of Olives, in the Arabic neighborhood, so you need to take an Arabic bus/taxi to reach this spot. Climbing the road on foot on a sunny day is not easy. The room was very clean and nice. From my experience, it was better than other hotels in the same price range. (Of course, we are not talking about European standards)

There is a mosque very close and the speakers are pretty loud during the morning prayer. There is a small restaurant across the street. Better read the reviews before going there. The reception staff should be more welcoming to tourists, they need to learn more how business is done in tourism.

Great and friendly staff, tasty breakfast with various selections of local products. Location is great, 2 minutes walking from Pater Noster church, 10 minutes from Gethsemanie Garden, and aproxx. 20 minutes from Old City. Just keep in mind that hotel is located on the hill, therefore you have to climb that bloody mountain everyday ;D But the amazing panoramic view on the City walls and Dome of the Rock it's something that makes it much easier!

Peaceful, nice rest from hectic crowds of city. Very near to Mount of Olives lookout. Amazing morning view of Temple Mount & Jerusalem. Quiet. Comfy bed.

No alcohol to buy in the small town. No top sheet and too hot for duvet. But we managed by taking duvet cover off and using for a sheet.

The Place was Neet/Clean I was allowed late check-out as my flight was at night. I checked-out at 8:00 pm without extra costs The Apartment was spacious Value for Money. All the Staff were very friendly and helfull, especially Imad, Walid, and Hussen.

None. Eveything was good. I really enjoyed my stay at Mount of Olives Hotel. I would really recommed Mount of Olives Hotel to anyone travelling to Jerusalem.

The place is very good the over view is nice..hmmm can I suggest you can put some equipments that we can heat the foods and coffee also thanks

No equipment for can we heat the foods and no coffee available in the room. Because this si my 4th time to go in your hotel with my friend. But the staff is very hospitality and very good thanks

Yusuf and Walid were very helpful. They made sure we were very satisfied with every aspect of our stay. Everyone was happy with the room, beds, view, breakfast, cleanliness and general positive attitude of the staff. They even helped us take a tour.

I only wish I could of stayed longer in this hotel but alas, I had to travel back to Jordan.

This was our third visit to Israel and staying at The Mount of Olives Hotel made our trip very special. The location is out of this world! The staff are super friendly and it was a most memorable stay
