Hotel Domomea

The room was a good size, well appointed and very clean with an excellent shower. The location was really good for us and an easy walk to the old town. The staff were all excellent and very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We booked a space in the car park which saved a lot of hassle

It was between 27 and 30 degrees so we were disspointed the pool was closed for the season.

Comfy bed, large room, excellent breakfast. Lactose free products available. Fresh coffee at last, bravo! I hate having to make my own coffee from a machine I dont understand. Staff at breakfast were very helpful

We asked for a 2nd key as you need to leave one in the socket to keep electric in the room. When you are travelling you need to charge tooth brushes, phones, computers. On day one the cleaners removed the key from the socket so nothing worked when we returned to the room, computer batteries flat etc. I thought the hotel was a bit too far from the old town, about a 20 minute walk but then I'm slow & it was hot The aircon didn't work, apparently it was still on winter mode, so to stop it heating the room, they just turned it off! It was too early in the season th have it on cooling mode???

Location - 15 minutes walking to the old city; Breakfast - fresh orange juice available, good variety of products (eggs, cheese, tomatoes, meat, cakes, fruits); the staff from the reception extremely kind, attentive, helpful, patient (answering to many questions and giving many information about the city/ sights), flexible (this is by far the strength of the hotel)

Some rooms are not well isolated and therefore sometimes noisy (if you have a light sleep).

the staff were very friendly and helpful . the breakfast room was keep very clean throughout service and the rooms and general areas were extremely clean also. we had forgotten a charger and the hotel provided us with one , no hassle

unfortunately there was issues with the jacuzzi and pool when we were there, but they were trying their best to get it right and there was a warning so you didn't enter which i appreciated as, previously issues with water in pools have led to ear infections amongst an entire group i was traveling with. as hot tea drinkers, a kettle would have been nice in the room, but the fridge was very convenient

Attentive friendly staff. Big room. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Good buffet breakfast. There is a small self service laundrette around the corner which is handy if you are on a budget. It is just off a shopping street. About a 35 minute walk to Maria Pia beach.

A bit of a walk (10 -12 minutes) slightly uphill from the historical centre.

Rooms very comfortable. Lots of space. Staff all really friendly. Gents on reception super helpful and Lizia at breakfast was amazing - taught us Italian while filling us with coffee. We kept one room an extra day and they gave us loads of clean towels and even found a mislaid phone charger.

Limited space for sitting out during the day as pool wasn’t open yet while we were there.

Good value for the money. Nice breakfast and big room.

A bit difficult to find parking eventhough the hotel is a little walk away from the centrum. We would hoped for better housekeeping since there was other guest’s hair in the room. The small pool was out of order for most of the time and when we managed to get to the pool, it was not clean.

Location is perfect. Very central. Staff is super friendly. From the courtyard garden for the morning breakfast to the roof top pool, everything is great. Very clean, spacious rooms. There is a bus service (Beach bus) just 5 minutes walk away with an easy access to mostly all the beaches around Alghero.

Wonderful, welcoming staff. Great location and very walkable to the historic centre. Our room was spacious, the delicious breakfast was very ample and we could not have asked for more. We are looking forward to going back to charming Alghero soon, and really hoping to be able to stay at Hotel Domomea again.

The superior room was perfect with a large bathroom. Breakfast had a good selection of cereals, bacon, eggs and Italian sweet cakes. The Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The old town was a short walk away which is beautiful with various restaurants.

It was a pity the pool was closed.
