SeePort Hotel

The staff were excellent; Friendly, very helpful and informative. This applied to all of the front desk staff, the restaurant staff and the breakfast staff. The restaurant was high class, with high quality meals reasonably priced. The breakfasts (though I paid for separately) were very reasonably priced with a very expansive range of food choices with fresh quality food. I very much appreciated a room upgrade at the hotel’s own discretion. Great view of the port and sunsets. There is also an easy short bus ride to the Porto-Novo beach south of Ancona.

Location was great from sea port viewpoint although was on edge of Centro Storico with reasonable walks involved for some of the attractions (e.g. Passetto beach and war monument involved an easy 45 minute along the flat Via Garibaldi extension). However for me I enjoyed the walking.

The staff was amazing! There was actually more to see in the town, than we realized. Be ready to walk up some hills or ask about the bus. Much faster to get a round Terraces are lovely but could use some updating Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was great! The beach Miriam recommended was delightful portonovo and Georgiana made a great suggestion to take the bus to passata. We walked half way back and stumbled upon a marketplace too. I could have used 3 days vs 2.

Challenging to navigate to the rooms Like a labyrinth

We decided to treat ourselves to this stay at Seeport but we weren't expecting the level of service and excellence of both the hotel and Ginevra restaurant. The staff immediately switched to English with us when they realised that we were English speaking. The Ginevra restaurant was exceptional and we'll be returning soon to experience the tasting menu. It's definitely world-class. The staff were excellent - Gianluigi took wonderful care of us throughout the evening.

These things are personal and not the hotel's fault. The bed (billed as "large bed" was a bit small for us because we are used to a Super King so I've booked a bigger bed for next Christmas. We also found the room a bit hot (we love lower temperatures than most people) but when we spoke to reception they told us we should have called them and they would have adjusted it for us.

AMAZING! Realy great hotel with breathtaking view from the bed! We stayed for 3 nights and we were very happy about this choice. The breakfast in the roof top restaurant was really tasty. I always choosed the croissant with the greek jogurth and fruits.. and was very happy. Coffee prepared by barista and was no problem to order one more coffee. With the view to the harbour, you wants always drink more than one coffe only :) The other options were also fine.. ham, cheese, eggs, cakes, fruit, veggies.. everything. We have also used the gym, which was small but sufficient. It should be booked in advance, but there was not really busy :) 10 minutes ride from the hotel, there was an amazing beach "Mezzavalle". The access is not very easy, but it worth it. The city center of Ancona is also fine, we have found really good restaurant with a tradittional food and made a new friendship :)

Genuine warm and helpful welcome by staff on arrival, thank you, I chose the stay in a sea view room which was exceptional. The room was spotlessly clean, stylish and modern, well set out and catering for both the working and leisure guest. Travelling for a number of days prior to my arrival and with the restaurant near to capacity, I chose the suggested room service to dine in and watch the large boats sail out from the port into the Adriatic Sea as the Sun set. Extensive menu options including Italian, Japanese and USA flavours. Breakfast dining from the upstairs balcony continued a breathtaking view stay with friendly staff. 11am check out was a great help to get in both a walk around the area and some work done with desk set up in the room

The hotel had a unique outlook to a working port and the old city on the hill. The hotel was smartly decorated and comfortable to be in. The room was very clean with every amenity. The lounge and dining room overlooked the port which was fascinating as ships were loaded with people and so many vehicles and eventually sailed away as the sun set. The breakfast was generous. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our short stay there very much.

Lovely Hotel! Friendly staff! Car is parked for you and then when you nee, brought straight to the doorstep! Perfect service. Great breakfast area on the rooftop. Just a bit disappointing that dinners magic was stolen as the diner was in the same place - also great views over the port and city. Good at down and also in bright sunlight! We were especially surprised, that the lovely breakfast waitress remembered each morning where we were sitting, what are we drinking and so on... It felt special!

The size of the shower... Sorry, but could be bigger by at least some 15-20 cm...

Very nice room , staff and food

Your reception staff need to learn about how passengers on foot can access the ferry terminal, particularly the check in location which is about one and a half kilometres from the actual ferries! As the hotel is called Seeport , this suggests easy access to the port. Given the poor knowledge of your staff and you having no available map , we found access very challenging. Our suggestion is that as a matter of routine your staff actually walk to the check in desk so they know where it is and that it is not easy to locate.

Probably the best 4 star hotel in the city, before the Port entrance and at 3 minutes from the city centre thanks a walkway reserved to pedestrians (ask the reception). Hotel very well maintained. The Staff is supernice and always helpful. Breakfast room with stunning port and sea view.

A little bit of noise (nothing really disturbing) is coming from the road underneath, but there are also cheaper quiet rooms on the backyard with no sea/port view. Choice is up to you.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are stylish and spacious as well as very comfortable! the breakfast is delicious and tastes even better thanks to the amazing view it comes with! I booked and used also the private spa which was beyond expectations: very well equipped, so peaceful and with nice treats from the Hotel. The highlight for me remains the kindness and helpfulness of the staff at all times!
