A beautiful villa with amazing views. We stayed in a double room and it was perfect in every way. Bed comfortable, room was spacious, fan available to use in the room, bathroom was spacious, there was plenty storage, everything was available that we could need. Breakfast was plentiful, a lot of variety and great to have fried or hard boiled eggs. The coffee was very good. Anita even packed us a take away snack as we had a very early morning flight. She is one in a million, so nice and really looks after her guests. All in all excellent place to stay.

Very homey B&B with comfortable rooms & bathrooms, charming hosts and home-made breakfast cakes [eggs if you want them] and a wonderful view of the lake from the guest veranda and from the rooms with a balcony. Private parking. Near the main north-south road so a great way to avoid the expensive lodging prices in Varenna or worse, Bellagio, if you have a car. Bellano is quiet but has a pleasant lake-side promenade with some very good restaurants and gelaterias.

My only complaint was that they allow dogs, and the small, brutish beasts staying in 2 of the rooms while we were there could not tolerate the existence of other dogs, so there was way too much barking. For staying here, as for many locations around the lakes, you will want to have rented a small, nimble car for negotiating the hairpin turns on narrow roads.

Elena and Giovanni are wonderful hosts. Very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing with fabulous views of Lake Como. Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast excellent with a wide range of pastries, homemade cakes, ham, cheese, cereal etc. Elena is happy to order pizza to be delivered, which you can enjoy on the terrace overlooking the lake. The village of Bellano is pretty and has everything you need. Can be reached by a ten minute walk or 5 minute drive.

The host wasn’t very friendly. She’s looking at you like she doesn’t want you to be the ere. However, by the end of our stay we realized that’s just how she looks, she doesn’t mean bad. Lovely place overall.

Quite a quirky B and B, very relax feel to the place. Look out for the Witch on arrival! Host gave us a quick run down of facilities, breakfast times etc and how to get to town. Room was nice (blue room) which had a ceiling fan which helped at night, good shower. Breakfast was good, lots of choice. Fresh rolls delivered that morning. Great view from balcony. Parking just down road. Easy walk to town for restaurants etc.

Does this terrace have the best view around Lake Como? I certainly think so! The lake itself is within a walking distance, although you should be prepared for going up a hill on your way back to Villa Anita. Breakfasts are hearty and abundant in italian pastries, sausages, cheeses and fresh veggies, the hosts are very friendly and helpful, room was very clean and comfortable.

+ nice, comfortable and spacious room with very big bathroom; + a lot of furniture when you can keep your belongings - in the room and in the bathroom as well; + nice lake view from the balcony; + well working WiFi; + very, very nice, friendly and helpful staff, who also provided us with breakfast when we checked out very early (thank you!); + parking space; + a lot of space to relax in the terrace and in the garden;

- breakfast was very repetitive - generally this is same as the day before, without any update or refilling of eaten things; - we suggest to think about "presentation" of food for the breakfast - it just lie on the table, there is a lot of things on a very small space - it just didn't looked daintly. - you have to cut the cheese or take ham from the package with your own hands, which is not quite nice in the view of current COVID situation. Except for the breakfast in overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we'll hopefully come back when we have opportunity!

The location and the view were outstanding. It was a generally quiet location with a commanding view of the lake. Most importantly to us, we could walk to town and access trails easily.

The only drawback was that chairs on the patio were not particularly comfortable. We enjoyed a glass of wine every evening to watch the sunset. There are 2 tables with wooden benches facing the lake and it would be nice to have some more comfortable chairs for lounging.

They were doing some construction works so sometimes we would wake early because of the drilling. Except from that everything was perfect.

We were supposed to stay here for a night but arrived quite late and decided to stay for one more night amazed by the views from our room. Elena (hostess) was really friendly and helpful and arranged so that we could prolong our stay short notice. The house is beautiful and with character. It has an amazing view of the lake from the breakfast room and the common terrace, as well as the balcony of our room. The breakfast was good and the room had everything necessary for our stay. The centre of Bellano is easy to reach (5 min walk), a cute town by the lake, with a nice beach where it is possible to swim in the clear water surrounded by mountains and idyllic Italian villages. We had a great experience and hope to return soon!
