The location is very comfortable, almost in the center. The house is old but very nice, and that was the reason we took this apartment. We felt as if we were italian movie characters. The rooms were large and very clean. Everything was very beautiful. The breakfast was typical italian with different types of tasty brioches, pies and coffee. The host was very kind and friendly. The self check-in was easy.

The only thing we didn't like was the private bathroom out of the room, it was far from the room and inconvenient to go.. But it was our mistake, we hadn't noticed it while booking.

Location is perfect, by walk of 5-10 minutes you can reach center, main bus and train station, shuttle airport bus stations... The room is beautiful, it is an old antique and well preserved typical sicilan apartment divided in couple of rooms. Breakfast is served in breakfast room where you have a lot of snacks, croissants, coffee, juices and other. I missed couple of non-sweet breakfast food but neverthelles it was good. The owner gives you coupons for coffee and croissants in local cafe. Altogether perfect accommodation, great value for money!

The apartment is charming, bright and spacious and you feel like in a movie which depicts the baroque era. Ludovico is a good host and he pays attention to details. The breakfast part were some sweets & juices at home + a voucher we could use at one nearby café. In the mornings when we managed to wake up in time to get the breakfast, we enjoyed sitting in the little café, having an expresso or a cappuccino and a cornetto.

For one of the rooms the bathroom is a bit far away from the room. The apartment is located near a noisy street and sometimes at night it might be quite challenging to sleep.

The decor is amazing, keeping with the traditional style. Room very clean and well equipped. Waking in there were shot glasses and liqueurs free to take which we thought was a nice touch. The breakfast was amazing and we were given a choice of the one provided or a croissant and coffee at the bakery across the road which was really lovely. Location was decent about 15 mins to piazza Duomo a s really close to a street with nice bars and restaurants.

We liked the owner of Dimora Umberto, Ludovico is very kind and thoughtful. When we had a situation with our clothes which were very wet after the rain, he kindly agreed to take our clothes for dryer machine.Our room was great, clean and beautiful. The position of the hotel in the city is very convenient, city centre is close, bus station and railway station not far from the hotel. For breakfast we had very delicious croissants,cookies,coffee ,sandwiches, candies and so on😀

This place was absolutely amazing! One of the top points of our trip. It's like traveling back in time and waking up as a royal. The whole house is beautiful and artistic. Really stunning, we really didn't expect this much, particularly for the price. Breakfast was included. In non-corona times (if I understood well) it is served inside this beautiful house. However, we had it in a coffee shop owned by the same owner - Opera Prima. And was that a great thing! They have so many tasty things for breakfast (many of them pistachio based). You have to try Pistachio Bomba, salty pastry filled with ham and cheese and pistachios. Mamma mia! Catania streets were dirty at the time (09/2021), Etna's dust all around us. Facades were also not in best shape. But we enjoyed the food so much that it is worth it coming over and over again. Probably to the same accommodation, since it was joyful spending time in such a room.

That we didn't book the room for longer. It was perfect. :)

The appartement was very easy to access and better than our expectations in every way. Color labeled keys for every door, easy padlock to open the door in the staircase, splendid rooms, comfortable beds, air-conditioning, TV, bathroom... All perfect. The breakfast is very diverse, laid down on the living room table and free to take and eat at any hour (because of covid). Ludovico is a great host, always kind and responsive on What's App.

We could do self check-in, which was really helpful for us. Ludovico was very helpful and gave us detailed instructions, making things really easy. He also provided great tips for restaurants and beaches. The room, with a private bathroom, is situated in a lovely apartment, in an old building, furnished in Art Nouveau style. Good location, about 10min walk from the city center.

Amazing room - the venue was Incredible, you could feel that you stay in a royal place. We highly appreciated the hospitality and kindness of the stuff: they explained us in detail how to arrive. Mostly, we highly appreciated the fresh breakfast that the owner brought us in the morning: fresh pastries, croissants, Ham and cheese, coffee. Amazing stay and amazing place! Thank you!

We loved everything. The historic property was absolutely stunning, the host communicated very well and was attentive to every need. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. Patricia came every morning and fed us a delicious and varied breakfast with a huge assortment of pastries, breads, croissants and coffee, cheese, meats etc. I'm sure it will be our favorite place to stay on our sicily trip!
