The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and a nice size bathroom. Valentina was so sweet and helpful during our 5 night stay, she even ordered us pizza for our last night as we had an early flight out and were tired from our day. Breakfast was both sweet & savory- pasteries and meats & cheeses and an excellent way to start our days. The location is an easy stroll to the city center and we still are amazed at the value of this place! Highly recommend!

My only complaint was that my room door was in the lobby so I could hear all the guests come in and out, so I would just suggest to ask for a room off the lobby if possible. But I did have a balcony overlooking the main street that made up for it!

It was a wonderful hotel with super friendly staff (most of them didn't speak a lot of English, but we managed to communicate through the people that did, through whatsapp, through translator)! They are incredibly forthcoming and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and get cleaned every day, even if they didn't have a whole lot of storage. The breakfast is prepared fresh with good coffee, fresh fruit, various baked goods etc. The location is very central - in just a couple of minutes on foot you're on via etnea, which is the central street of Catania with shopping etc. Just around the corner is a wonderful street with dozens of great restaurants. You're in the "city centre" with the basilica in about 20 minutes foot walk. There's bus stops all around, and the train main station (where trains to Siracusa, Taormina and Palermo leave, for example) is also just about 20 minutes on foot away (or a short bus ride).

The breakfast is typically italian, so it's a lot of pastries/sweet stuff. The only savory food are some antipasti sort of things and toast, but for a couple of days it was definitely okay even if you don't love the pastries.

Great location, made us feel safe enough ;). A very clean, quiet place with quality services! We loved it very much and appreciated the kindness and amiability of our hosts. They are people that make your trip and your days beautiful and want to go back there, even just for them. The window opened to the street, but it had surprinsingly good noise isolation. The room was a bit small, but cleverly set up. Breakfast nicely served each morning.

Our family of 4 sleep here comfortably for 2 nights. It was about a 15 minute walk to the center and next to the main city park. Some shopping and restaurants within a 5 minute walk as well. The breakfast has many choices of breads and cakes and was attended very well.

Breakfast could have been longer - at least until 10am. There was no pay at the hotel option when I reserved and had to pay for the entire stay upfront.

The beds were really comfortable and I really like full covering curtains in windows so we had good sleep:) We spent there only one night but I wouldn't mind to stay more. Location is also good- close to the lovely street with good restaurants and in 3-4 min walking distance you can visit a botanical garden :) People, who work there are really helpful- they helped us find parking and other things in the city.

When you want to open the window it's really noisy outside, but it was the one and only bad thing about the place in my opinion.

Very welcome and helpful personal, in the room: clean linens, variety of towels, shampoo and soap, comfortable beds. thanks for water , tea and cookies also. breakfast: breakfast for adults is perfect - more than satisfying, for children is good enough. Please add to the breakfast menu primitive cereals. small lobby, but smart space organized.

the balcony- not clean (old cigarets was there on the floor and the dust also.. ) and not really safe… needed to be cleaned under the beds also.

Love the breakfast, so many sweet pastries and you have to remind yourself not to eat so much because you need to make room for lunch etc. Also love that the owner and the staff are very very friendly.

Other reviews about thin walls is true, but it's not a huge issue, I still had the best sleep ever on the nice mattress. Wifi is weak, constantly get disconnected, but they have 3 different networks so you could switch to another if one doesn't work.

Staff was very warm and friendly, I felt very comfortable there, breakfast is amazing, room is well equipped, I loved my stay there, they provided me hot iron, free water in the floor, they booked us a very good vulcano trip

we had some noisy neighbours, the doors are bit thin, some small water stains on the ceiling, room cleaner forgot some cleaning stuff, we found solutions to communicate via translator app ;)

The location is very convenient in the centre of Catania. Everything is within walking distance. There was a vast assortment of food and beverages for breakfast. The staff is very kind and helpful. The self-check-in worked fine. The room and bathroom were clean.

The WiFi connection may need some improvement

We evaluate the cosiness and cleanliness of the rooms, very nice and helpful staff. We had a small balcony facing the street, which was noisy but nothing could be heard through the closed window. Breakfast was adequate, more sweet than savory. Access to the center was excellent, 10 minutes walk, close to the legendary confectionery Savia and Villa Bellini. Overall, we were very satisfied.
