Vittoria Resort Pool & SPA

We loved this hotel, the staff were so friendly especially on reception. Our room was large, two good size wardrobes, a safe, toiletries, fridge and a balcony with drying facilities. Decor is a bit dated but very much in the italian style you find in most hotels in Italy. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linens were really high quality. Air conditioning was a bit warm the first night and you can't really change the temperature in the room however if you go to reception they can adjust it for you and then it was great. Hotel is relaxing and quiet, the pool area was beautiful and peaceful, with lots of beds and chairs but it can get a bit busy later in the afternoon. We ate at the pool bar, the food was simple, a bit slow to come out sometimes but it was really tasty. They also have a good selection of drinks including proper coffees, beers, wines and icecreams. The pool was much larger than we expected a good depth all the way along and you can do a really good length when swimming. Lots of spaces for your car if you have one however again it does get busy in the later afternoon. The Hotel is so convenient for the town and beach it is literally a 5 min walk to the promenade with all the restaurants and bars and around 7 mins to the old town. We loved to walk down in the morning and then again at night to watch the sunset, get some drinks and then dinner. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to be back.

Braakfast had a good selection of different items however was a bit basic. I can understand why people didn't like it, we found it to be adequate but we have experienced better quality products in other parts of Italy. The fact we couldn't adjust our air conditioning was a bit annoying when we arrived and it would have been good to know a quick trip to reception can sort it out. Would be good if guests were informed of this on arrival or on the website.

The pool and the pool bar are great, the reception staff are very nice and helpful. We have also enjoyed the restaurant and the live music (some days of the week) is a very pleasant bonus. The location very close to the city centre and the port is extremely convenient. I liked the fact that the hotel has an agreement with the Alimini beach nearby (a great sandy beach) and you get to buy from the reception a voucher for front row sunchairs (and umbrellas). All in all it was a very pleasant stay, I would definitely go back.

There is a good selection of food for the breakfast, everybody will find something to eat in the morning, but a bit repetitive and for a 4* hotel, I've seen better. The cleaning personnel is not very helpful. I had to ask twice, two different cleaners, for a shampoo refill. But overall, really minor inconveniences.

The employees were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good with home made foccacia, delicious cakes and fresh fruit. Our room was very clean and spacious with a big balcony and very quiet. We location is great, in walking distance to the restaurants.

We were a bit disappointed bc the indoor pool was closed. We were told that at check in. When I booked the room the information was that there is an indoor pool which is open and can be used for extra charge and only the outside pool is closed til the end of April. It was a pity bc our child was looking forward to swimming.

Nice peaceful position in the town & yet just minutes to walk in to the lovely old town , port , beach & many many restaurants. Big rooms, lovely swimming pool. It was very clean everywhere. Nice friendly staff .

The breakfasts weren’t to our liking but that wasn’t their fault. Parking was a bit tricky.

Everything was exceptional could not fault anything the room was very comfortable big and shower was lovely. The breakfast was fine. Coffee machine was amazing. We used the spa facilities was exceptional. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Maybe if I want to be critical then the breakfast could have been better but was fine. The restaurant staff were lovely.

Very good location in the centre of Otranto. Clean and cosy room. Good brakfast, good choice of cheeses, however, no vegetables - only once in 7-day-stay tomatoes were available. Very nice and helpful service at the reception desk as well as at the restaurant. Nice open air pool. Free gym open 24/7. All in all, very nice hotel to stay in Otranto and feel the atmosphere of a seaside resort, especially in the evenings.

Due to covid restrictions breakfasts were served by waiters from behind plexiglas shields which made guests queue and gather close to one another (some of whom not wearing masks) in front of the bufet table in order to get breakfast as a result imposing greater threat of infection (longer contact time) than if they simply came to the bufet table and put what they want on their plates (there is no evidence of infection by touching the same objects but lots of evidence of infection due to prolonged contact time breathing the same air) - not a big plea, just a small suggestion from a professional point of view to take into consideration by the management as I can hardly imagine what this breakfast formula can serve for. Balconies could be separated from one another by some sort of wall.

The hotel is perfectly situated, 3 minutes walk into the beautiful Centro Storico, (old-town) with on-site free parking that is very useful as everywhere is paid-parking and congested. The bedrooms are spacious and nicely renovated with very comfortable beds and large showers. Breakfast was excellent, At present there is no self-service buffet, the waitstaff serve for you, but they are efficient and prompt, freshly squeezed orange juice was a great surprise. Lovely large swimming pool with comfortable surrounds and a small cabana where you can purchase drinks & snacks, Very helpful reception staff who do there best to ensure you make the most of the town.

It seems this hotel has undergone an extensive renovation, Unfortunately the cleaning techniques of the housekeeping staff were not updated at the same time and the bleach stained carpets in the corridors bare testament to that, as do the marble bathroom floors. The room black-out curtains don't black-out so from sunrise the room is quite bright.

Location was excellent. A short walk to the old town and harbour, very convenient. Free and readily available parking is fantastic. This is one of the main reasons we chose to stay here.

The hotel itself looks a little tired and old through the corridors. Some nice prints might help distract from this.

Great breakfast with fresh pastries and even fruit. Delicious coffee as well. Close to the center of town and lots of space. Friendly vibes.

The room was automatically set to 18 degrees Celsius, which was absolutely freezing and hard to change. (not to mention concerning given the need for energy conservation). The door to the bathroom also keep getting stuck on the floor, which was a bit of a nuisance.

Amazing property and great location. It’s walking distance to the beach and many restaurants as well as the old part of the town. The room was very clean, spacious and well kept. The pool made our experience even better! Breakfast was very good and they had a lot of variety! The staff was friendly and helpful and they watched our luggage while we explored the next day after check out! Will definetly be back on my next trip to Puglia! We loved our stay!
