Hotel Meandro

I loved Gargnano & people up there seemed so much friendlier than in Sirmione. Received a free update I am most grateful for. The view from the balcony was marvellous & from tge restaurant especially. The owner has an exquisite taste & love for detail. Fantastic restaurants in town too! The breakfast was fantastic & there was nothing missing! A great start into a day! I would highly recommend this hotel. They made me feel welcomed & appreciated. Grazie Mille 🙏

I personally dislike dogs & some visitors left their dog in a room opposite mine unaccompanied & he would not stop barking. Would not blame the hotel for it but it was handled poorly & affected my performance/computer. It should under no circumstances be permitted to bring pets in a hotel in my opinion & certainly not unaccompanied. It’s not only very stressful for the guests but also for this poor little dog. I am travelling for work.

Second time in Italy and second time in the same hotel, and I believe I will come back again. Beautiful place, beautiful hotel, most friendly staff...

Clean, modern rooms, friendly staff. Beautiful view of Lago di Garda. Balcony. Breakfast was great

the property is spotlessly clean , staff were really nice and very helpful, Nice to see the breakfast staff with a smile always (as some places you stay in in the morning is a nightmare), The views from the back of the hotel are beautiful (we had a lake view room top floor no 447) Pool was nice (used just once) Had dinner in hotel one night and it was very good , obviously a little pricier than some places in the village but worth it (i thought ) Overall great a great stay👏 👏

Things we didn’t like 1) That walk back up to the hotel from the town very very steep ( not hotels fault lol) 2) The lighting in the pool and changing areas are literally non existent that we tried or could not find 3) No staff at pool area to help with lighting , putting sauna on , or towels providing. And thinking if there is kids around that area i think someone should be on hand. 4) The coffee at breakfast is not good , theres 2 machines and there terrible (beware) 5 ) Rooms a tad outdated but clean and comforatable

We had a very nice stay in Meandro. The staff were amazing. Great customer service! I just want to say huge thank you to the restaurant staff and the chef, who were taking great care for me during our stay, as I have gluten intolerance and the food was tailored to my requirements, and also very delicious. So, thank you again! The room was spacious and it was cleaned every single day of our stay! Although the furniture and the shower was a bit outdated, it did not bother us.The bed was very comfy and we had very nice view from our balcony. I believe with a bit renovation and such great customer service that they provide, the hotel can become easily 4 star. We would love to come back again!

We liked everything, very clean spacious room (good mattress) with balcony. Super friendly and helpful people, very tasty breakfast with an amazing view of the lake. The hotel is very child friendly and our kids loved the big indoor pool (28C). The beautiful village center is few minutes walk and a beach with playground next to the lake is almost at the doorstep. We can strongly recommend this place and will go certainly back again ourselves. Just make sure you do reserve a parking space as parking in the area is not cheap and easy.

We came to Garda lake for our honeymoon. We flew straight from the church on our wedding day wearing our wedding clothes. It was a bit disappointing not to get at least a note with congratulations from the hotel. The staff totally ignored the fact that we’re newly married and chose their hotel to spend our honeymoon. We know it’s not a must but it would feel very nice if the staff paid attention to things like that.

The staff will go over and above to help you with anything. We didn’t speak any Italian and the reception staff helped massively with booking taxis, directions and other queries. The staff in the restaurant always so polite and attentive. Just lovely people and wonderful service. My friend is gluten and dairy free and they were caring and understanding, able to offer options with food and advise accordingly. The beds were super comfy. Great location, lovely walks round Gargnano. I will definitely be back!

That I had to go home.

Had a lovely stay. Staff so friendly and helpful. We were given a warm welcome and an upgrade. Beautiful views of the lake and a short stroll down to the lakeside and into town. Very quiet, breakfast was good and the hotel restaurant was excellent with great service. We also enjoyed the indoor pool and garden. High standards of cleanliness too so we were very happy with our stay at Hotel Meandro.

Nothing :) Although some tea and coffee making facilities in our room would have been a bonus.

The night we stayed at this hotel, a barbecue dinner was offered on the roof terrace (€45 per person, eat as much as you can + drinks included). The view alone was worth the money! The hotel also has an indoor pool (free of charge), a great relief on a hot day. Breakfast was served in a restaurant with a beautiful lake view - we loved it!

Moving through the floors has a different layout than usual, and navigation takes some getting used to.
