Great place in the historic centre (and in a historic building!) with a beautiful roof terrace where a nice breakfast was served every day. We had a spacious and clean room with more than enough space for our group of three friends. Silvia was a proactive host who reached out in advance about check-in and other details, and was very reponsive and helpful both in person and via whatsapp. Would definitely stay here again!

The property was the top floor of a very tastefully renovated palazzo. Our room was a separate suite at the entrance to the B&B so we had our own entrance which was nice and also had access to the B&B for breakfast and any queries. The spacious suite was fabulous with a separate room containing a couch for relaxing. ( I presume it could also be an extra bed) The room was very clean and serviced everyday. The breakfast provided was plentiful and a choice of lots of sweet and savory options , juices, coffees etc. We even got to eat breakfast on the terrace a couples of mornings. The weather was windy so unfortunately it wasn’t possible everyday. The location was excellent, a short walking distance from the train station (which we used for daily trips to other towns) and although it was in a quiet part of the old which we liked it was only a short distance to all the restaurants, bars and other sites.

Unfortunately we had some issues with our air conditioning and even after it was looked at continued to only work intermittently. Also the lowest temperature we could get it to was 23 degrees. As it was May the weather wasn’t too hot but if it had been the height of summer it could have been a bigger issue. Also it is important to remember that some tourists live in cooler climates and are not used to sleeping in hotter temperatures without air conditioning. Also just one suggestion to improve the facilities a coffee machine in the suite would have been welcome or at the very least a kettle.

Charming B&B in the historic center of Lecce! We had a suite which worked perfectly for our family, as our son had a separate sleeping area. The B&B was exceptionally clean and large, with comfy beds and soft towels and linens. The rooftop terrace was charming. Location is great inside the city center and near lots of wonderful restaurants.

Breakfast in the morning took a long time which was odd for a basic continental breakfast. If you are arriving to Lecce by car, be aware that you cannot access this B&B with your car as it is in a restricted zone and parking on the streets closest to the city center can be very difficult.

Very nice staff (thank you again for being so welcoming!), the room was clean, nicely decorated, modern bathroom, the place is perfect to discover the city, and the rooftop very charming!

Nothing, it was perfect!

This B&B was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and the staff was helpful. Palazzo Marini is in the heart of the old city district so you can walk to all the most sought-after sites.

Be prepared for a lot of stairs leading up to the entrance -- not a problem for many, perhaps, but it was hard to schlep a suitcase up there. Also, I was unclear about how to enter downstairs, though someone helped me figure out the buzzer. The room was comfortable and the view quite beautiful but the only chair in the room was wedged into a spot that required me to move it or climb over it if I wanted to get to the window. Would have loved a little more help looking at a map of the town with the staff. They didn't seem to know how to direct me -- other than that, though, they were kind and attentive.

Palazzo Marini is in the heart of Lecce geographically and culturally. The Palazzo - which was part of an EU- funded project- was beautifully refurbished and proposes a flawless decoration. It is modern but the style of the building was respected. The staff is professional, extremely kind and really goes out of its way to serve you. The big plus is the roof-top terrace where breakfast is served with local specialties.

Having to leave Palazzo Marini!!

Great location, very central and therefore ideal to explore Lecce on foot. Despite being central, the Palazzo is located in a very quiet Piazza so we slept really well at night, even though we kept our windows open. The rooms are very clean and modern, the breakfast is served at the top of the palazzo with a nice view of the city centre. The staff was really friendly and happy to answer any questions/requests.

We had some issues with the AC, but the staff promptly called an engineer to fix it.

The staff (Iliara and Emanuella) were amazingly accommodating. Iliara came in early and was there to meet us and get us settled right away. They made sure that we felt very comfortable and were very professional friendly and helpful. The room has just recently been remodeled and was beautiful! The breakfast on the beautiful rooftop were the best have evert had! Incredible! The roof top has a lot of tables and chairs and has great views. This place would get 6 stars in my books. Fantastic B&B in a great location with a wonderful staff that car to you every need. Do yourself a favor and book this B&B.

Nothing. Everything was perfect!

We stayed in the Barocca Suite. Very large and beautifully furnished, with a huge comfy bed. The views from the room were also very nice. The included breakfast was very generous and we enjoyed it each of the 5 mornings.

Very minor issues. Air conditioning was a bit hard to work - would be good to be taught how to use it. There were water stains on the roof that need a lick of white paint.

Great location near the centre of Lecce but a few streets back so very quiet. The building is refurbished to a high standard. We stayed in a spacious, light and modern room (the one with Italian tiles) which was spotlessly clean with high vaulted ceilings. Breakfast is Italian style and substantial served on the roof terrace. Ilaria who manages the B&B was excellent from start to finish! We hope to come back next time we visit Lecce.
