Hotel Atlanta Augustus

Everything that we needed for the stay was completely provided for even on short notice including all toiletries. We booked, and checked in the exact same day which was a fantastic turn around time for the hotel. The hotel is very conveniently placed within Lido with a short 10 minute walk between the hotel and all transportation links to the center of Venice. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly providing excellent service throughout the day, and always there to greet you.

We honestly found it very hard to find an issue with the hotel, however in previous hotels we have stayed at, there have been complimentary teas/coffees within the rooms however these werent provided for in this instance.

We got the suite with a door directly to the back yard and had a bed for our daughter in the kitchen and our own bedroom for my husband and I in the back with a modern updated bathroom between us. Cute and comfy. Only comments would be pillows quite big and bed quite soft but we sleep on small down pillows and a rock hard bed normally so likely not a problem for most. Air conditioning was fabulous with +40 degree weather but a little loud but that did not effect sleeping. Great staff! We left a computer bag in the room and the staff helped look for it and found it… thank goodness.

The Hotel was perfect in every way -beautiful. Clean old style quiet hotel with a perfect hostess kind helpful . We arrived very late due to flight delays so all the restaurants were closed. The hotel manager went and prepared us a tray of beautiful cheese ham bread fruit . It was wonderful and he did not charge us. Everything about the place reflected the old attitude of kindness to your fellow man with no material gains . Truly restored my faith in mankind.

Nothing. The only problem was not with the hotel but there was a ferry bus strike on the day we arrived and it was very challenging to find a water bus to take us across to Lido

I was already once in this Hotel, and I wanted to be there again. The Hotel ist very central, I like the way of Hotel. The People who work there very polite, Kind und like to help all the time. I like the Garten, always clean and tidy, nice atmopshere to sit any time. Breakfast ist very good, the person who working there very nice and polite and kind.

besides that I all like, may be it should be possible to have a place to let the chlothes dry after schwimming. There is no place for this. And it was very hot, may be litte bit more place for fridge.

I upgraded to a delux which I then was lucky to have a balcony. The room was very clean as well as the rest of the Hotel. Staff were very friendly. Not to far to walk to the beach and ferry crossing.

Could of done with a little more choice of breakfast. I know it was continental but could have had a toaster but not end of the world

Location was very quiet, in a very nice neighborhood, felt quite up-market without being pretentious. Very comfortable and spacious rooms, and was really nice to have a balcony and hot drink facilities.

No hot water for a shower in the evening, and the breakfast was a little confusing, but I think we got to it at the same time as the whole hotel, so it got a little hectic.

Location is great, breakfast is alright not big selection but you will have something to eat) Room clean . Can rent a towel 1 for €3, or 2 for €5 After checkout allows us to leave bags for the day.

Both days different receptionist have been on the phone trying to resolve their things on the computer and ignoring you for a good time .

Perfect location close to ferry and beach, wonderful restaurants nearby, staff friendly, breakfast staff lovely, room all that I needed, for a solo traveller it was all really good, felt 'at home' here! Couldn't have asked for more. I will be back on my next visit to Venice.

Perfect location to be away frim the crazy crowds. Easy vaporetto ride to Piazza San Marco and easy Alilaguna to airport. Quick walk to the beach. My rooftop top room had an enormous terrace with a view towards the city.

Everything was amazing! The hotel room had everything you needed. Very spacious room, great view from the balcony as well. Very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast with good choice of food. Couldn’t have stayed anywhere better!
