Beautiful apartments right in the centre of Modena old town, everything’s on your doorstep. The host was very accommodating, letting us drop off our bags early and was super helpful with recommendations as the whole town was closed for Ferragosto. Quintessential Italian breakfast was delicious with fresh croissants and lovely coffee. The little kitchenette to prepare food was useful and the fridge/freezer was perfect for cooling wine in the heatwave!

Nothing - just wish we’d picked a day that wasn’t a national holiday! :’D Such a beautiful town regardless.

The hotel is very central and it was very easy to walk everywhere once we arrived by car. Parking is on the street and you get a card from the hotel so you don't get ticketed. The rooms are very rustical and relatively old. The furniture was also rustical - has a certain charm to see an old long-wave radio in your room. Needed to be careful with some of the furniture as the legs were loose (Eg small seat). Reception was very helpful and breakfast was simple and brought to you in the room in the morning. Was interesting. Room where the kids stayed had an "automotive" theme - old automotive parts / pictures for decoration.

We had a small problem parking the car because of a football matchat the nearby stadium but still only a short walk (6 mins) to the hotel. Hotel staff were very welcoming and efficient- the room was very comfortable and the breakfast served in the room was fine. The main attractions of the city center are very close by. The system of free parking on the road with the hotel document a very good help.

An explanation of how to make the water in the shower hotter with the boiler in kitchenette would gave been useful.

The location was AMAZING! Staff friendly and the breakfast was an added bonus.

The aircon wasn’t great quality and didn’t really cool us or the room down enough. We did put it on full blast but just wasn’t powerful enough. Also although beautiful looking some of the antique furniture it’s had it’s day a bit. The wood on the bed is coming away on both beds. The shelf felt if you put anything on it it was going to come out the wall.

Alessio was really nice and helpful, with recommendations, parking advice etc... He took our number plate to allow into the restricted zone and issued us with a free parking permit - very easy close parking. The accommodation is very historic, ours was spacious, but left us feeling quite claustrophobic- very little natural light. Breakfast is just sweet - unfortunately not for us, but we knew that anyway from other reviews.

There was a coffee machine and kettle in the room, but no cups, not even plastic ones in the bathroom! I'm sure if we had called Alessio he would have brought us some.

The location was walking distance to the train station and other sights in the historic center. The room was decorated with an art deco motif which was clever. The host was very accommodating with our check-in and being able to store our luggage after check-out. He brings breakfast to the room, which was lovely. It was also a quiet room! This was a great find but value and location. Grazie mille!

Breakfast included sweet pastry and delicious warm sweet croissant and coffee. Service was very helpful and friendly and extra helpful when we were not able to make it 20:00 when check in closes. Very nice stay in Modena! Location was relatively near to restaurants, railway station and shopping. For us the location was good and we enjoyed it.

Room had a scary picture of an old lady that looked directly to the bed. It was a bit odd :) The bed is a bit hard, so if you like that, then this is for you. The pillows need an upgrade.

The owner is super nice and helpful. He sent us good instruction regarding the arrival and offered us recommendations for restaurants. The apartment is spacious and fully equipped with more than everything you need . it's super cool and full of details. Very urban design and close to cool shops and reastaurants. All the details are written on the door so it's a user friendly experience. The breakfast is basic and only sweets. The owner brought it to our room at the time we requested. The parking is on the street but for free and within 100 m . Wish we had more time there !

The wifi was poor and there was a bed smell in the stairway (but not in the room!).

This apartment had a great location for walking around Modena and was also close to free parking. Breakfast arrived on time every morning and the host was really responsive to all questions and adjustments. It was also super clean and the kitchen had everything you need.

The extra bed in the living room would be great for a child but small for an adult.

Brilliant location in the heart of Modena. Quirky furnishings ( Fellini room ) and a very comfortable apartment. Having a view of a medieval church from the windows was great. So totally recommend this place . Downside is that it can get noisy during the night as there are a number of bars within the area. Overall great place to stay

It can get noisy during the night as there are a number of bars within the area. Also kitchen is not that well equipped if you plan to cook during your stay. But hey who wants to cook when in Modena .
