Hotel Tornielli 9

The hotel is ideally located at the heart of the city, in a historic building. The reception was very friendly and fast addressing our inquiries. WiFi had a good connection. Staff were extremely polite and helpful.

The family room has some very strange planning and the breakfast could have been more abundant, otherwise everything was perfect and value for money was exceptional. Will probably stay at the same hotel when I am around.

The hotel was clean and in a great location. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice of food and drink and was ideal before checking out for travel to Malpensa airport. Big family room with a separate room for our children.

The reception opened at 7.30am. We had been requested to pay tourist tax at reception before leaving to catch our train at 8.10am. However, the receptionist was not at the desk and we had to ask the restaurant staff to assist. It got sorted although was not ideal when we were rushing off to catch a train.

the location is perfect. also the personal is very helpfull and everything is very clean and organize. I went with my family, and every morning at beeakfast, the guy from the restaurant had a special chocolate for my little girls, nice touch. the girl at the front desk very helpful. also is worth mentioning you are walking distance from the best places in town. is located in the historic center. near many restaurants.

the hotel has parking, we paid for it, but 2 days we arrive during the day and it was full with vans from people that was working in the hotel. if you rent the parking to guest, workers of the hotel can not use it for other purposes, this should not had happen. algo, there is no elevator to the rooms, and they are in the second floor. it was not a problem, only the day tou arrive with bagagge and the day you have to leave.

No AC in rooms was a bit hard - just a fan and verrry hot nights. Shower room was a bit worn, but all excellently clean. Beds and bed clothes were phantastic - comfortable and brilliant white. Excellent location. Parking very expensive (10EUR/night), but we found very cheap parking just around the corner. Aaaaand - city centre just around the corner with comfy tavernas. Delicious breakfast and coffee. We are satisfied, thanks!

The hotel is right in the core center of Novara, so you can walk anywhere you want. It’s also really close to the station in case you want to take the train to Milan or anywhere else. The architecture of the place is really cute and historical, which is a real plus. And the staff at the reception is really nice !

The fan was really loud, cannot be used while sleeping, a little leak in the shower, and the housekeeping lady was a bit rude…

The location was excellent if a little difficult to find initially. Building was amazing in terms of courtyard area, and just the whole atmosphere of the antiquity of the place. Room was clean and slightly small but it served the purpose I needed for the evening. Breakfast was acceptable and I appreciated the attention of the people working there to my needs.

Room was basic, but for the overall price of the room it was clean and tidy.

Hosted by a beautifully restored building, a former convent, the hotel is around the corner from the city center of Novara, a wonderful town that we enjoyed a lot. Our room was quite spacious, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, therefore quite comfortable for our family of 4. Reception staff was very accommodating, and having a large and secure parking lot in the inner courtyard was a bonus for us. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed during the weekend, so we didn't get to enjoy it, but its menu looked quite tempting, and, again, the location is gorgeous.

The bathrooms are a little dated, and, probably due to the old building, soundproofing is not at its best, therefore you can hear various noises from the inner courtyard, other rooms, hallways, etc.

Who knows about NOVARA ??? I ended up here because the hotel I had booked in Torino cancelled my booking the night before I was due to arrive, even though I had a confirmation and a receit for the payment! It was a bankholiday weekend, halloween and everything. All of Torino was fully booked appart from one very expensive place. I checked where the trains between Genoa and Torino, and between Torino and Milano stops, and if any of those stations had an affordable hotel within walking distance from the train station. Only Novara fited the bill, and that is how I ended up in this not at all tourisy town, doing daytrips to Torino. This hotel is a GEM. After having been freezing cold in various hotels during the last week, I was getting worried as now it was raining and wet clothes doesn't dry in cold rooms. I was so happy when I got to this warm nice room with a heathed drying rack in the bathroom. The room was very practical furnished, and everything was so nice. Quality crisp sheets, duvet, fluffy towels, even quality toilet paper and a bottle of water in the room. EXCELLENT Wifi. Friendly and welcoming staff. Big courtyard with tables. Communal kitchen and even a laundry room. Big bathroom. Everything was sparkling clean everywhere. Vending machines in the corridor. What more could you ask for.

It was absolutly NOTHING which I didn't like.

It was conveniently located for the airport and for dinner etc.

We had to keep getting up through the night to empty the 3L water bottle attached to the noisy, portable air conditioner in the room as it floods the floor when it overflows. You cannot use the ceiling fan as it is extremely loud. There are a lot of stairs and no lift.

The hotel is part of a beautiful building with an internal courtyard. Reception was opened when I arrived, and the room and facilities were excellent, with especially good value for money. The room had everything expected and was perfectly suited to my stay. Check out the next day was quick and easy.
