Hotel Soleluna

Hotel Soleluna is a 10 minute walk to Piano di Sorrento train station which is a few minutes ride to Sorrento. There is also a supermarket and a couple restaurants next door. Overall, Piano is a quieter area and I passed through surburban streets and many locals on my way from the train station to the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and the AC was good. It was also handy to have a bar fridge although you have to pay for any of the drinks supplied. There is still room to store a couple of your own drinks inside. Overall I found the wifi okay, only dropped out a couple of times but would soon return. I was able to check in a couple hours earlier and also leave my luggage after check out which was nice. Worth noting for early risers, the breakfast was only from 8-10am and thus I missed out on both days as I started the day early to beat the heat and crowds.

Although there is a sign about saving water and energy re: replacing towels and to leave them in the shower if wanting replacement, my towels hanging on the rack were still replaced. There was also a bit of traffic noise from the road outside my window in the later hours of the evening.

- The staff was very welcoming and helpful. - Very good breakfast. - The AC was great as well.

- The Internet was slow sometimes. - There was only a US power outlet and type C usb's by the bed. There's a euro power outlet in the bathroom and one behind the table/fridge. There should be at least one by the bed as well. - They have a sign in the bathroom saying only throw towels in the shower if we want them changed to save water, detergent and energy. I never threw them there, yet they changed them everyday.

Very friendly staff. Great breakfast included. very clean room and bathroom with fridge and good working aircon and wifi.

it is about 5km out of Sorrento center. Bit tricky when you are on public transport. Had a small single room, single bed only.

The place is very clean and comfortable, the hotel is located in an area which is not very busy but it has private parking, restaurants and supermarket nearby. We were so pleased with the staff, good hearted and positive people... we were late for our check in and they didn't even complain about it, only informed us through booking, email, message and even phone called as they were worried about us. Reasonably priced too.

Beautiful inside the hotel, we had a parking space for our car in a secure car park. The room was light and airy, comfortable bed with two pillows each (which most of our italalian accommodation didn't have!) A lovely long bathroom with a good shower. The air con kept us cool during the night. It was a good location for travelling into Sorrento, 15 min walk to the train station although we did struggle to get a taxi. There was a good selection for breakfast and it was topped up for the next guests

Very attentive and friendly staff. Extremely clean hotel/room. Safe spot with private parking for $10 per day or meter parking in front of hotel. Awesome food market & amazing restaurant across the street. I would definitely rebook. Love Sorrento and hotel is close to the main center and ferry dock to Capri!

Everything was fantastic with an excellent value, fridge and mini-bar. Hard to say that there was anything wrong.

The hotel lobby is absolutely gorgeous- with big plants and lemon trees in pots. Stuff is so nice, especially the reception girl. We arrived late couldnt find the gates to parking (which is arround the corner) so she stood all time on street waiting for us nd telling there to go. Room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast very good.

A very nice hotel with great breakfast. Just 15 minutes on foot to Meta beach, which is the beast beach in the area with the view on cliffs and black sand. 15 minutes to railway station and just 2 stops to Sorrento central station.

Our one night stay was awesome and we wished to have more time there! The room was clean and the bed was comfy. We could park our car behind the gate at the private parking lot. In the evening we went to the pizzeria next door which was great!! The breakfast at the hotel the next morning was extravagant and we enjoyed it very much. A special thanks to the extraordinary friendly staff for making our stay so awesome, we will definitely come again!!

Super little hotel, a nice room and bathroom. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Fantastic breakfast with lots of choice including hot food and good coffee. Why stay in Sorrento when 10 minute walk takes you to the train station, or 45 minute walk by quiet roads.
