International Hotel

This hotel exceeded my expectations! For a so called ‘budget’ hotel I was impressed. The place was exceptionally clean. The rooms are large, with spacious bathrooms and high ceilings. Black out curtains to get a good sleep. The corridors and communal areas are also spacious. The bed was very comfy, and the air con worked well. Awesome to have a fridge in a hotel! The staff, although they have very limited English, are extremely polite, friendly and attentive, from the reception staff, to the breakfast staff, and the cleaners. The room was cleaned every day with new towels and linen. I was actually given a free upgrade to a room with a terrace and a lake view! There’s a large communal area with sofas and a tv - didn’t seem to get much use but it was a nice option, and places to sit outside. Property is in an excellent location, just 15 min walk to the centre, although there are good restaurants on the way (would recommend Lido dei Platani - I had an excellent good value meal here with an amazing view and wish I’d gone there before my last night!) There is a supermarket approx 7 minutes walk away with a self service laundrette based there as well.

Breakfast was okay, edible but not amazing, more options for bread would have been good, and warmed up croissants, but it was fine given it was so convenient.

Location and room views was excellant, room was very comfortable, clean and fresh facilities daily. The staff were always available and friendly. Although the breakfast was very good if you werent down early enough there was no fresh bread cut.

Would have liked some kind of bar and bar food so you could eat at Hotel, this would have added to the excellent service and hotel location.

I chose this hotel and Iseo as convenient for Bergamo airport in the morning. I thought the idea of an hotel near the lake would be nice. In actual fact the location was wonderful and feel Iseo as a town is probably overlooked. The hotel was actually really comfortable with very freindly and helpful staff. Well apointed rooms with a lovely balcony view of the lake about 200m away. The hotel has a very nice breakfast and for the evening there are an abundance of really lovely looking restaurants either on the lake shore or in the town. I also managed to leave a couple of things unfortunately in my room bu an email exchange later the hotel are sending the items by DHL to me. The International Hotel and Iseo I feel are hidden treasures which will definitely be on my return list for future trips in and out of Bergamo.

I have absolutely no adverse comments to make either about the International Hotel or the entire overnight stay in Iseo.

The staff was super-helpful, particularly in unexpectedly providing a solution when the group got "stranded" as we had not pre-booked taxis to an event. They also helped us with the use of the common area to celebrate with a birthday cake and bubbly :-). The rooms were very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for a short weekend trip. The buffet breakfast was perfect, accommodating the wide range of dietary restrictions in our group. We all enjoyed our stay very much.

Nothing - although light sleepers should bring along earplugs for rooms which are next to the train tracks.

The International Hotel is exceptional for the price. My room was spacious, extremely comfortable, and air conditioned. Housekeeping cleaned the room and brought fresh towels daily. There was a 24-hour reception and the concierge called a cab for me when I departed. The breakfast was wonderful with the normal Italian breakfast foods but also hot scrambled eggs and bacon. The hotel is also a short walk from the center of Iseo and the train station.

It was very quiet at night which made it easy to sleep. The breakfast was good. Only two minutes walk to the lake and restaurants.

The shower was very small but this is common in Italy.

We had a very nice 2 day stay while we were exploring the Franciacorta area. We rented e bikes and visited some vineyards. We also tried swimming in the lake. The personell did their outmost to make us comfortable.

Great location, in a quieter part of the town centre. We booked on the day we needed the room as not happy with original hotel booked. It did what it said on the tin. Air con very good in room and comfy bed

Really lovely accommodation, the breakfast was nice. My room was spacious and comfortable. The guy who checked me in was so lovely a d helpful.

I found the access to the bedroom tricky, I'm not sure if this was down to tiredness on my side or not. Otherwise happy overall.

The location is perfect and close to the old city center. We stay on this hotel mostly for a short period and it is a nice place to stay. Also friendly hosts.
