Villa Pitiana

A big ♥️ for Laura, the young lady from the reception. This 10 goes to her and the bartender! Very professional and kind.

Eventhough the whole villa is as a museum, which we liked a lot, some parts should be renewed e.g. the bed(s)/mattress(es). Our bed/mattress was crooked.. It’s not pleasant to climb up the matress the whole night because it draggs you the whole night down. It wouldn’t hurt the staff from the restaurant to smile . They are very rude.

We spend our vacations in Villa Pitiana from 2 to 10 July 2023r. This hotel is perfect. Beautiful view on tuscany landscape and old, mysterious villa. Food was very good with great variety of italian cakes or croissants. Room was huge, clean (room service everyday with fresh tovels and beding) and with also amazing view on the garden which surrounds villa. But the most important was always helpful personel. When we had an accident on vespa the manager of the hotel helped us with every issue from contact with police and emergency to transport our vespa to hotel without asking anything in return. Once again great Thank You Villa Pitiana. Trully worth to visit!!!

The location is very nice, the view is amazing.

Our room had stairs inside, siting area downstairs and the bed upstaird.It was an unliked surprise after long trip.The rooms are classic style.There are clean and big. I didnt like the staff, from the reception until the restaurant, nothing was possible, their attitude was wird.I request boiled egg at the breakfast, wasnt possible...they had omlette...the answer was no.During the dinner also, is like they didint understand at all english or they respect the rules no matter the request of the customers.

The view is spectacular and the castle is a fairytale! We spent a lot of time at the pool and took a hike to a nearby mountain village for lunch. The breakfast was typical italien with a lot of different cakes and all sorts of coffee and a wonderful pancake machine

It was difficult to tell the size of restaurant meals on the menu card at night in order to get the right portion of food for grownups and kids.

Mrs. Laura (reception) was very nice in our check-in, she follow us to the room to explain about the building, I thank her allowing to us an upgrade due my birthday (61). We had dinner and the food is very good with great presentation. Breakfast is great. Sunset is wonderful .. you need to see. Many details in any place. I really recomend. Near the hotel you can find a nice MALL with great brands.

Internet doesn't works well in the room. Maybe due the building structure.. big walls.. Not easy to find places to plug-in eletronics

Old property from 1000 years ago, very elegant, with history, gorgeous views, gorgeous garden, we had the room with balcony and the view was breathtaking. Staying at this villa it is an amazing experiance. Verry nice front desk and maids.

Poor breakfast, would be nice a bigger variety or to be changed each day. The pool area needs fixed or used just for decoration.

Pool and area around pool could be up kept better. When there are large groups they should make coffee to accommodate everyone without long lines. We had an early tour and had to choose between eating or waiting for coffee. That was unacceptable. No shower curtain or enclosures in some of the rooms.

Fact that we couldn’t eat in the restaurant although we booked the room long before our stay and.nobody asked if we wanted to eat there or that it was not going to be possible to eat when we made the booking. It should be part of the experience

Villa is gorgeous! we have got a free upgrade and our room was huge and with perfect valley view. the road to the villa is very scenic. there is free parking. breakfast is served in main hall which gives you feel the atmosphere of Villa. you can enjoy your morning coffee at the terrace with garden view. I would definitely recommend to stay at this place!

Setting and distance to Florence were ideal. The included breakfast exceeded expectations. Our party decided to eat dinner at the restaurant one evening. We were not disappointed, all of us choosing to have the Steak Florentine, as the meal was fantastic. Bar service and staff were friendly and helpful. I will recommend this to friends and consider staying again when in Florence.
