EXCELLENT! Podere Camaiano was one of our favourite stays in Italy. 1. Katia, Fabri, and their staff are lovely people who strike a perfect balance between professionalism, efficiency, and warmth. Clear communicators. They also helped set up a massage for when we arrived, and took care of an administrative request I had. 2. The environment is peaceful, set atop a hill with a forested background and sweeping views of the valley. 3. The breakfast is delicious and varied; to name a few, we have cured meats, fruit, eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice, and home made pastries (savoury or sweet), bread, cakes, jams, yogurt. 4. SO CLEAN. 5. The design is eclectic and tasteful. Our bedroom was very quiet and can be completely darkened for a good night's sleep. I also ADORE the open-style shower of Room #2; it drains quickly and there's good water pressure too. 6. The cute animal residents, especially the world's chillest cat, Ciciu. At one point we wondered if Podere Camaiano was too out of the way, and if we should book elsewhere. We decided to stick with our initial gut feeling, and so up the hill we went in our little Fiat. And I'm so glad we did. They've had a lot of travelers, so I admire, even more, how they still take such pride in giving such a wonderful experience for everyone, from the fresh-cut flowers to providing a beverage on arrival. It's heart. I wish we got to stay longer. GRAZIE!

The VIEW, the whole property: a hidden jewel!💎, the room, the owners: Katia and Fabrizio are FANTASTIC!! Trying to please you in every single way!, the breakfast: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, the swimming pool, etc etc etc

My only “ scary” moment was when we had to climb( with the car!!) a little part of the steel hill to reach the property: it seemed that the car was not going to make it, but that was only our own fault! Just had to put the gear in 1st and all went 👍🏼But it is good to know, so you are not surprised by this 🚙! It happened only at arrival , afterwards it all went perfect!!

The property is incredibly beautiful – a historic home with modern amenities and panoramic views of the Tuscan valley. The hosts were so lovely and welcoming, taking the time to chat with us about the history of the property, and going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a cozy stay. Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with homemade jam, focaccia, and much more. Highly recommend. Will for sure stay here again and will be recommending to friends traveling to the area!

We had a very pleasant stay with Fabrizio and Katia. Before we even arrived at the property Katia was incredibly helpful with booking a car, recommending local wineries and answering any questions we had. They were also very accommodating to our baby daughter and to us when our luggage went missing on our flight over. The B&B itself was very clean and the decorations were very eclectic, even down to the collection of beautiful china that breakfast was served on. The pool and outdoor area was also lovely. We were sad for our holiday to be over but can highly recommend staying here and feel that the accommodation, the breakfast and the service was excellent value. Grazie Mille Katia and Fabrizio!!

The hosts, Fabrizio and Katia, are reason enough to visit this wonderful B&B, they have created a beautiful home and genuinely welcome you into sharing it with them. We visited in mid-September and it was warm enough to enjoy the pool (a real treat) and pleasant surroundings. The B&B is large, six rooms with beds for 12 (or more if needed) but one never feels crowded as there is space and the owners go out of their way to make you feel like you are at a family gathering during the holidays. At the last minute we changed our travel plans so we could stay an extra day!

location: this is a perfect place to stay if you want to get away from the noise and busyness of the city. it is situated high on a hill with splendid views, and yet is only a 15min drive away from restaurants and is accessible to other places of interest such as alberese natural reserve (stunning hikes, the beach, ruins), historical towns and saturnia natural hot springs. hosts: Katia and Fabrizio were fabulous hosts, warm, welcoming, made great suggestions of places to go in the area. they speak excellent English (and also helped with our very little Italian!) and also had great communication before and during the stay via WhatsApp. Their way and friendliness really helped us get to understand Italian culture more too. they also have a gorgeous cat and gorgeous dogs 🥰 the B&B itself - absolutely stunning decor, how a British person would imagine quintessential Italian but more homely - it’s decorated in a unique manner that suited it perfectly. everything was clean, comfortable, the shower was fab! plenty of parking. there is a pool but it wasn’t yet open due to the season still being a bit cold and a terrace that will be fab in the sunshine. it was very toasty and warm which was appreciated given the weather! it has a small gym that has everything you need to tick you over whilst on holiday - for me, plenty of space to do video workouts too. and when the weather is good there is a spinning bike outside overlooking the hills and plenty of space to workout outside if you preferred! the room had a kettle, plenty of tea and coffee and water. the towels were lovely and fluffy. it was also great to have the option to do laundry as we had been in Italy for a good few days by the time we arrived here!

This isn’t a complaint but just a warning to travellers that the hills in this area are steep! and the road leading to the B&B is gravel: our car struggled (we rented a small Toyota Yaris) but at no point were we stuck. we could probably have done with something a bit more substantial though in hindsight. One small benefit to improve would be to have a rubbish bin in the bedroom.

Beautiful restored farmhouse with individual rooms. Stunning location with fantastic view over Maremma, quiet. Very nice hosts and crew that create a very familiar athmosphere. You don‘t feel yourself as a guest, you feel as a friend. Thanks Katia and Fabrizio for a wonderful stay!

Definitely a 10 out of 10!! - The hosts Katia and Fabrizio were super friendly and supportive throughout our whole stay - The breakfast is super delicious! Several home made things like jam, yoghurt or cake tasking really good! Katja is the best ;) - Last but not least, the atmosphere & coziness of the whole B&B and the breathtaking view over the mountains!

The location was stunning and so peaceful. Breakfast was delicious, and the selection was good. Katia and Fabrizio were the BEST hosts, so kind and welcoming.

We have nothing negative to say about the B&B, but would add that if you're hiring a car in the area, do get something with a bit more power to deal with the hills etc. We read this in a previous review and it was great advice!

The hosts were extremely welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The 18th century property was beautifully renovated and you could see and experience that the couple thoroughly enjoyed running the B&B. The rooms were immaculate and the interior was an eclectic mix of antique furniture and contemporary lighting and interior. We will certainly be back.
