Hotel L'Antico Pozzo

The hotel is at the far end of the main walking concourse through town. First class breakfast, large comfy room. We wished we could have stayed another night. The staff directed us to a great restaurant, Il Pino, a one minute walk from the hotel. Our room had 200-year-old frescos on the walls.

We didn’t like the shower bathtub…huge step into the tub with no hand rails to grab.

Perfect location that was walking distance to all the main sites. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke English well which really helped our stay. They were particularly helpful in assisting us with parking and getting into the city. The hotel was lovely with lots of character. The hotel also has a lovely sitting area to relax in the breakfast was perfect.

The hotel room was quite small with a lack of space for our luggage and belongings.

This hotel is beautifully run! The staff are so helpful And cudgels! From the moment Emanuele picked me up at the train station to the time I checked in with Massimo! Massimo arranged my dinner reservations and took excellent care of me. I come to Italy every year for a month and the bed is one of the most comfortable I have slept in! The location is incredible! I’m only sorry I didn’t stay 1 or 2 days more! They make you just feel special!

Antico Pozzo hotel—it’s truly Italian elegance. This hotel fits perfectly into the medieval atmosphere of San Giminiano. This applies to the architecture,interior design of rooms. The Staff is very helpfull and very nice. A nice touch was the knowledge of Polish cinematography by one of the lady, especially Kieslowski films. Breakfast is served on the terrace ( very good idea in pandemic time )very varied and very tasty. Cleanliness of the room is at a high level. This time we stayed in a small but very cosy room ,very quiet,view from the window was on Tuscan landscape. I hope we can visit Antico Pozzo hotel next time in the near future.

This property was on the main street in San Gimignano. Perfect location for accessing the streets and exploring. Couldn’t believe how good of a deal the room was. Good size, clean and modern bathroom, perfect for what we needed. Was

Nothing was to dislike. Met my expectations and compared to other hotel stays was very reasonable my priced

The room was very comfortable. It is right in the middle of the tourist area and yet so quiet. While the breakfast was not included in the price it was so very worth it. For 10 Euros we had eggs, fresh fruit, coffee, juice,toast, pastries. It was delicious! Overall, the hotel is wonderful! I highly recommend it!

The hotel was in the perfect location. It was quiet and spacious but right in the heart of San Gimignano. The staff were very kind. It was perfect for our family of four with a 14 year old and an 11 year old. It was 33 degrees outside so a relief to come back to a big cool room.

I booked the pink room for me and my bridesmaids before my wedding day. The room, the staff, the food and the service was all perfect. They made sure that we had the best day and time there. We have told all our wedding guests to book this hotel whenever they visit San Gimignano. If you do, they will take very good care of you. I highly recommend it!

The staff was very helpful and gracious and the breakfast was very good, very fresh and a lot of options. The location was excellent.

The room was small and could have used a little upgrading. There were stairs up to the bathroom.

Breakfast was absolutely lovely in the gorgeous sunny courtyard. The location was fabulous and the room felt steeped in history with gorgeous big windows that overlooked the street. You can hear the hustle and bustle of people walking below but in a nice way.
