Not easy to find, should have checked the location better.

Situated a little outside of Siena, this place is perfect for exploring Tuscany if you have a car. The city of Siena is also easily accessible by bus, nice if you plan on having a glass of wine in the evening (which you definitely should!). Our host, Daniel, was wonderful and made us smile every morning. It was so lovely that he remembered our breakfast wishes and always treated us like family, gave us tipps on what to visit and made reservations in restaurants for us.

Initially, we had a hard time finding this place, since the spot on Google maps is slightly off. Navigate to "Via Celso Cittadini, 53100 Siena SI, Italy" when you arrive.

Good location, on the quiet edge of the city, bus stop near accomodation. Small but clean room. Very kind & helpful host. Beautiful garden.

Windows without mosquito nets.

We travelled to Siena by car, so we were happy that parking was available. The location was just a few minutes by car from the city centre. The country lodge looks beautiful, it is hard to imagine such a place is so close to the city centre. Considering the season just started and there were very few guests at this time, the breakfast was very good - had enough options to chose and everything was delicious. The hosts are extremely nice and full of helpful advice about the local attractions and restaurants. Wifi was good enough to allow streaming services.

The room could use a few more electricity plugs - these days travelers use a lot of electronic devices so it is convenient to have a chance to plug them all it, preferrably close to the bed. Some plugs also seemed to be small for regular European devices.

Country Lodge is a great place to stay at for anybody looking for a "basecamp" when discovering Siena and the surrounding areas. Most places of interest in this area are between 30–90 mins away. Country Lodge is comfortable, clean and close to Sienas center. An extra plus for Elena who is service-minded, and helped us every day with great tips on what to see and do.

Nothing critical really. Perhaps the wifi… not great, and not a great solution either, but this seems to be a problem all over Tuscany…

Our stay at Country Lodge B&B was wonderful. The staff were extremely polite, helpful and always available. Our room was nicely decorated and clean. The bathroom was very comfortable. Breakfast was also good with a variety of pastries and fresh Italian coffee. We had booked a standard room but they gave us an excellent one with no extra charge :)

Everything was great, but it is highly recommended for travelers with car as it takes a 10 min drive to reach the city center.

Silvia, our primary host, was especially friendly and was intent on making our stay pleasurable. The bed was one of the most comfortable we had while traveling in Italy and the room was exceptionally quiet. The breakfast was amazing, with a great selection of food. It was also nice to have free, onsite parking available, since we had a rental car. The outdoor terrace is beautiful, although we didn't have time to enjoy it.

the property is in the outskirts of Siena but Cristina showed us on the map where to park in the city center when we went town visiting. the rooms are very nice, very elegant and the bed was amazing! She prepared for us an amazing breackfast, even though we were the only guests for that night. Loved it, absolutely recomend! also a good bonus free parking!

The host is wonderful, so friendly and helpful 😍😍 the room was perfect for our needs. It is a little out of the way but there are buses. We had a car so it wasn't too bad. There is a shop and bar next door which all the locals go to, the owner is great and once again so friendly!

Unbelievable customer service. Staff was so friendly! Place was immaculately clean, super comfortable beds, good breakfast, facilities are so nice! Feels like you're in the country side, yet you're only minutes away from Siena's historic center. Can't recommend it enough.
