The location was fantastic as not only did it have a gorgeous panoramic view of the sea, and you can enjoy your breakfast during sunrise, but it's also 3 minutes away from the city centre. Be warned; however, the view comes with a price, as there are quite a few stairs to climb until you reach the flat, so keep that in mind for any heavy luggage. Ernesto, the landlord, was accommodating so which made our experience better, especially when visiting a new country.

These are mostly some helpful information to keep in mind/tips. As mentioned above, there's a bit of a hustle reaching the flat with all the stairs, especially when carrying your luggage up the flat, but this is an old town, so it's all part of its charm. Also, if you are renting a car, keep in mind that the roads are pretty inaccessible, and parking is scarce, so you will need to leave your car at Lumbi parking overnight. There is a free shuttle from there that will leave you 5 minutes away from the hotel, which is convenient. Parking might add to your expenses, so budget an extra €20-25 per day. Price-wise, the flat had all the necessary amenities, but it was a bit on the expensive side. Considering that we did go during a busy tourist season, it's understandable.

We couldn’t believe our luck in finding this gem; it was spacious and well-equipped and we absolutely loved our stay. Wish we could have stayed for months!!! The apartment has two huge roof terraces with fantastic views over Toamina and the Mediterranean. The kitchen is a good size and has everything you need to cook a proper meal. The living area has views out over the roof terraces and beyond. The apartment has a big bedroom with a comfortable bed plus a sofa bed in the room. The bathroom was a decent size and everything worked. The property is well-maintained and light and bright and airy. We loved everything about Ernesto’s apartment. Ernesto’s communication was fantastic and he was spectacularly attentive on WhatsApp, giving excellent recommendations in the area.

Slight warning - Taormina is on a hill and there are lots of steps to climb!!!

Great location, recently renovated well kept rooms, delicious breakfast. The host was very friendly and flexible too, easy to communicate in English. Kind of hard to access (many stairs and parking far away), but this is Taormina after all, so that's normal, and you could say fun.

The room was very hot (we had the top room below the roof), the walls were radiating heat like an oven, and the failing air conditioning had no chance of keeping up. We left the air conditioning on during the day hoping to arrive in a cooler room in the evening, but it was turned off, which was frustrating. In the end it was fine but we'd recommend turning the AC on a couple hours before guests arrive and leaving it on, as it is very weak and needs hours to be effective. All in all a positive experience, with this one issue ;)

Hosts sent us very good instructions on how to get to the accomodation (written, video, photos), and were very helpful throughout our stay. Beds were comfortable, also pillows. However there was only one blanket on the bed, and very thin, so sometimes me and my partner were "fighting" for it. The water preasure in the shower is a little weak, but sufficient.

If someone is in the corridor, you can hear everything - the walls and doors are very thin. Only one blanket on the bed.

The view was amazing and the place was basically in the dead center of Taormina. Ernesto is the perfect host, he helped us with everything we needed, especially with recommendations of what to visit. The breakfast is great as Ernesto makes the perfect scrambled eggs and there are a lot of other things to choose from. The croissants are MAGICAL. The room is rustic in a nice way and it has everything you need. We also had a spacious terrace just for us with a wonderful view of much of the town.

There are a lot of stairs before you reach the property and in the building itself, but you get used it after a while as the whole of Taormina is on a mountain.

Im so glad to choose this location and not daunting by the many stairs in the review haha. The room is great, clean, nicely renovated, good balcony view. Breakfast is lovely too! Giuseppe speaks good english, very helpful and fast in responding our message. We drove here and park our car at park lumbi, it costs abt 30 euro for 2 days. Overall a great experience!

As you see in some of the other reviews, the stairs... We got 2 carry-on luggages, 1 backpack, some plastic bags, it's a manageable distance of walk after the free parking shuttle busstop which stopped about 5-8 mins walk away from this place. Though i could imagine if someone got 24/28 inches luggage would be a bit tiring.

Everything was amazing! The host contacted me the day before arrival to offer me information about the check in and how to arrive at the accomodation. He send me detailed explanations about it. The room was very, very clean, we had towels and hygiene products. They also clean (very thoroughly) the room every morning. The breakfast was good and fresh (with not many options, but good ones); the guy there made us scrambled eggs (which we appreciated a lot). The locations is very good. Even though it's very high up the hills and there are many stairs to reach the property from the train station, it's very close to all the attractions and the view is breathtaking. I recommend you take a bus or a taxi from the train station (the walking trail is difficult). I would definetely stay here again!

The walls are very thin and you can hear almost everything that is going out outside the room, but it wasn't that annoying.

Very cute decorated apartment! We liked the location a lot and also the communication with the host was uncomplicated!

The air conditioning was dripping outside on the balcony and we didn’t really enjoy being on the balcony because of the amount of water on the floor. We took all the water inside the apartment when we were stepping outside because everything was flooded unfortunately. We didn’t use the air conditioner so it must have been because of the other rooms.

It is located perfectly, very close to all the main attractions, including the cable car to go down to the beaches, yet tucked away on a quiet street on a hill. The hill of course means stairs which was no problem for us, but it is to be noted for those folks who can't do stairs. The hill also means great views both from the room and especially the roof top breakfast terrace. The breakfast is delicious. It is not only a selection of amazing pastries, fruits but also eggs made to your order, great coffee. The room is exactly as depicted on pictures. It was clean, bedsheets and towels were fresh. The bed was comfy. AC worked well, wi fi was great- allowed us to work remotely, including online meetings with video on both sides. The host really cares about his guests and it is seen in all the small details and how well kept the B&B is. He also was always available promptly through whatsapp and had many recommendations for us. Great guy!

The fridge in the room was a little loud to sleep with, but we just unplugged it for the night.

Our stay in Taormina was amazing. The B&B Tauromenion was even better than we expected. Everything was clean and tidy and our room was nicely furnished. The sea view from the balcony was fantastic. Giuseppe is the best host you can ask for. He was very friendly and gave us lots of tips and recommendations for Taormina. Every morning we looked forward for his breakfast. His scrabled eggs and the croissants were absolutely delicious. We have nothing to complain about and recommend this accommodation to everyone :).
