The location was very convenient and the owners were amazing. They were so kind and friendly to us. The place was very clean and nice looking as well.

Everything was great. The only issue was we couldn't get wifi on the upper floor where we were staying. We had to go downstairs to access the WiFi.

the location is pretty far from the main area, so if you have a car, that will be great. For me, I didn’t hesitate to walk around, but it was not practical.

Lovely breakfast (bread, ham, cheese, jam, apple strudel, donuts, cake, yogurt and granola, orange juice, coffee, eggs boiled or scrambled). Great location with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the mountains and ski to door options (down from Sasslong). The area was very quiet. The city center is 15-20 minutes on foot but we used the car all the time. We also liked the sauna. Lady Insam is a very helpful and nice person who works hard to keep the hotel clean and the guests happy.

The size of the room could’ve been bigger, bur this was visible in the photos so we can’t complain. Although small, the rooms were well designed and had everything they needed. The biggest problem was that although the area was very quiet, the walls were thin and you could hear other guests on the hallway very loudly. There was also a loud noise going off and on throughout the night.

Villa Insam was perfect! First, the location is out of this world! Next, the rooms were quaint and delightful, especially the balconies overlooking the gorgeous valley. Third, the daily breakfasts were scrumptious with home made delicacies every morning. But the BEST part of Villa Insam is the hostess/ owner, Louisa. Louisa was delightful and very eager to help each guest figure out their best itinerary/ hike. We did a different hike everyday! I will definitely go back to this little gem of a place !

Nothing to change

Louisa is soooo welcoming! The breakfasts are delightful. The views are incredible. The rooms are incredibly space efficient. It looked so small when we first stepped inside. As we settled in, we noticed there is a place for EVERYTHING! Super impressive! The sauna area was remarkable and the ski locker was easy. For people who want access to wifi but not all the time, this is your place. we had no wifi in our rooms BUT in the eating area, free wifi was accessible. We used a car to get around. And Louisa gave excellent recommendations for restaurants. We were situated on the 3rd floor and loved the exercise of using the steps.

The friendly host greeted us upon our arrival and allowed us to check in early. There was a walking path to get to town which we would have used had it not been rainy and cold. Being located at the edge of the town, the setting was very quiet. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our meal at a restaurant in town that was recommended by our host. Good breakfast the next morning in the pleasant breakfast room.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful when it comes to planning your day. The rooms are cozy and clean, with spectacular views. Breakfast was lovely.

The space is small, but manageable. The hotel is a 15 min walk from the nearest bus stop.

Great location with nice views and very close to the slopes. Breakfast is good and served by friendly staff. If you want you can prepare your own dinner in the shared kitchen, but also multiple good restraurants within walking distance.

By far, the most comfortable beds during our entire trip through the Dolomites. Hosts are very helpful and accommodating. Plenty of parking and the ability to either walk into town for dinner or begin your hike into the mountains.

The WiFi is weak, extremely so if you're on the opposite end of the building from the router. This isn't a huge issue as we're there to hike but it did slow down our planning process as we hike with both Gaia and AllTrails maps.
