Hotel Di Varese

This hotel is wonderful in every single aspect! Spotless clean Beautiful and modern facilities Best shower EVER, and we travel a lot Best location in beautiful Varese: Three minutes walking to the train station in one direction, or, 3 minutes walking to the Old Town (pedestrian zone) in the other direction. It’s a family run hotel, with very friendly and polite people. Everyone is genuinely nice. They think in all small details, even two big and new umbrellas in the room (that luckily we didn’t need to use). Excellent breakfast with all kinds of coffee (expresso, cappuccino, etc). I could write ten pages about this wonderful property. It’s really a great place to stay!

I choose this hotel for 2 nights because it is not far from Fiero Milano and Milano airports. At first I stopped at Lake Como, but all the good hotels did not work there and I decided to take a chance to stay in Varese. I immediately liked Hotel di Varese, because the territory of the hotel, the terraces and the parking have been completely renovated and a very clean. The hotel has its own secure parking and it is free of charges. The hotel is located almost in the center of the city, but in a very quiet place. The building of the hotel is after total reconstruction. The hotel has a new furniture and clean inside also. The rooms were also clean and warm: the hotel's heating system works perfectly. The staff is a very friendly and attentive. There was no kettle into the rooms, but I enjoyed drinking tea in the dining room, which was clean and comfortable. It is important for me that the furniture and building is new and there are no unpleasant odors. Breakfast is modest, but I really liked the new white tea set by Villeroy Boch.

In the rooms, it seemed to me there are the presence of an extraneous smell of any chemicals like as cat urine. I lived in different rooms: in large room №22 this smell came from the head of the bed, and in room №11 the same smell was in the shower. But in any case during my next trip to Fiero Milano I plan to stay in this hotel again.

Very secure parking, gate locked at night, CCTV. Large parking spaces. Very big room and bathroom. Everywhere spotlessly clean. The shower was really good. Comfortable bed. Staff very helpful, with excellent restaurant recommendations and help with directions to Campione d'Italia, so I could avoid having to buy a Swiss motorway vignette. Good quality breakfast fare. The lady in the breakfast room makes great double espressos. Central location close to town centre, shopping, restaurants etc.

The WiFi was poor. Perhaps because our room was in the annex. But that would not stop me returning to this hotel.

Absolutely loved having breakfast in the garden! My request for a street-facing room was accommodated, but I would recommend instead a view of the garden/courtyard. The hotel is very conveniently located to the two train stations in Varese as well as Varese's downtown. From these stations there is direct access to Malpensa airport, Milan Cadorna, and other stations in Milan. It was a great stop!

I should have chosen a room with garden view! But this one is my fault. Everything else was great.

The most generous and accommodating hosts ever. They gave us a room to practice in. (Musicians with a gig that night) and parking for the other band members. So generous. All of the staff are terrific. Espresso in the morning to take up to the room for my wife. The room is great. We come to Varese to play a couple of times a year and previously stayed at Albergo Crystal but this is much better.

Nothing not to like. Everything perfect.

Easy to get to from Malpensa airport, extremely helpful staff, beautiful rooms, best simple breakfast, so close to the centre of town, off street parking, comfortable bed, gorgeous shower - basically the best place to start our Italian and French cycling adventure from - we’ll be back for sure.

Nothing except we could have stayed longer knowing how well it put us in the right mood for our holiday

The staff were exceptional. They were helpful, cheerful, and went out of their way to make us more comfortable. The breakfast in the garden was delicious. The room was clean and spacious and modern. The location was great, close to the railway station and the bus and also the Old Town with all the restaurants etc. We will definitely be back!

this was a fabulous find - we’ve been to Varese many times and the hotel we always stayed at closed. Hotel di Varese far exceeded my expectations. Perfect location and the rooms were fantastic. The staff need to be commended on next level customer service - starting from the reception to the lady that runs the breakfast. Always smiling and so accommodating. Breakfast was good and the courtyard is a beautiful place to have breakfast. Well done - we’ll be back for sure.

The hotel was beautifully presented. 5 minutes walk from the station and town centre, so excellent location for exploring. The room was spacious and spotless with a very modern vibe. There is a peaceful garden terrace to chill in too. The staff were delightful, helpful, friendly and always on hand.

The Hotel Varese is clean, comfortable, and well situated between the town center and train station. Most exceptional was the staff, who helped us with directions to the Sacro Monte and Castiglione Olona, and also gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good.
