President Hotel Hakata

Easily connected to everything by buses and trains. The Hakata station is about a 7 minute walk away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They even have a shuttle to get to the station. If you request to not have room service, they'll leave towels and amenities outside of your room. The staff speaks both Japanese and English.

If you don't request to not have room service or forget to, you'll have to wait for them to be finished with your room before you can go up to it if you return in the later part of the afternoon.

Reception advanced book taxi for my flight early morning. Value for money. Efficient lift. Bottled water n tea bags provided. Microwave n coin laundry on levels 4 n 5.

Room v small, 12 sq m. Couldn't open luggage properly n have space to walk. Toilet is high step up, need to be careful. Air con not adequate. But for pricing, is still worth it.

Location is not too far from Hakata station and the room is as expected in Japan. Kudos to the staff and I think his name is Okuda who went the extra mile to assist me to book a rental car and am truly grateful for his kind assistance.

The breakfast was too bland.

Walking distance from Hakata station and Subway Gion station. Room was small but clean. Breakfast was a real added value. Free tea and bath salt as amenities were a nice touch.

Tiny room, good for one night but few days with luggage could be a challenge. Slightly difficult to find the hotel at first.

The breakfast was not a buffet. You get a choice of Japanese or Western. It's the same breakfast every morning. We had 2 twins. The beds were between a wall, so the parson on the inside had to crawl over the person on the outside to get out.

The staff was exceptional 👏🏻 thank you so much for everything, we found out we could ship bags from hotel to hotel! The staff were so nice to carefully explain luggage shipping and even help us with booking a train.

The location is slightly off from the main area

The hotel and staff were both very nice. The room provided all the basic amenities/toiletries. Everything was clean and tidy when we showed up. Check in was straight forward, no surprise charges.

The double room we got was pretty small and had a smaller double bed. It was barely big enough for 2 people.

it is very convenient, walking distant to Hakata bus station and Old Town, u can easily walk around with no problem

The room is a little small, but there again I believe all city hotels in Japan rooms are comparatively smaller, It is good.

Loved the location - very convenient for our 2-day stay. Room was comfortable and very quiet.

The room was clean except for the top of the headboard behind the bed. It was very dusty and still dusty after the room was cleaned the first night.

After checked-out on 2/6, a female staff (really want t know her name) friendly helped my daughter found her lost wallet in person . Very appreciated her assistance and couldn’t ignore her excellence of service.
