Hotel Crown Palais Hamamatsu

I could enjoy the tasty breakfast which are full of local foods ODEN, Cha-soba( buckwheat made from green tea),dumpling and so on. Western one was also bery wonderful. In any way the breakfast is the best reason to choose this hotel.

The facilit is old. Many people rushed to the break fast when it opens and I had to take seat out of the restrant thoug the place was not bad.

Your usual good hotel that meets expectations for the price you pay.

We asked the staff where to go for dinner, but even so it was a little confusing working out how to find the nearest restaurants in the station. When we finally did they closed early.

Hotel and room were very clean. Breakfast was good. Location was great.

Bed was a little stiff. Could feel the springs.

Parking lots are a llittle bit far from hotel.

The hotel is really close to Hamamatsu Station and you can get anywhere around there. The hotel is really beautiful, has a good view of the city, the staff are really friendly and the room is really clean.

The breakfast was good but basic, and one point that was not that good is that you can't control the air conditioner's temperature in your room. So it was kind of hot at night.

Best location.

Hospitality was poor. Feels like quite racist at the reception. We have to pay separate parking fee. When asked for ofuro hot bath which was in picture with customer the told us to stay inside your room.

The room is spacious and clean. Staff is polite and position is strategic.

Equipment and room are very outdated but well maintained and clean. Hotel advertise onsen and swimming pool at their profile. However, when I checked in I was told that onsen is for additional price and it’s outstanding 1600JPY!!! I was shocked and angry. I have never stayed at 4star hotel which would dare to charge guest for such a basic facility like onsen saunas or swimming pool. It goes without saying that 4star hotels provide such basic services. Charging for such basic services is absolutely stupid. There has a to be a line what distinguishes 4star hotels from low class hotels. However, staff was very polite and professional and explained everything so I blame management for this.

Doesn’t have its own car parking. They give you nearby parking coupons. If you take the car out and park again, your previous location may be full, so you need to go to the front desk and ask for another parking location.
