Hotel Route Inn Morioka Ekimae

1. Located right near the train station. 2. Room was super clean. 3. Staff was nice and I am especially grateful to the staff who served the breakfast, one lady was very kind to assist me with my food restrictions. Also, thanks a lot to the staff for listening to our room preferences. 4. We loved that we could change the temperature in the air conditioner by ourselves.

1. There was no information on allergens during the breakfast and I had to ask staff every time. 2. Very crowded during the breakfast. We were waiting for 15 minutes just to get into the dining hall. 3. There are just 2 elevators for this big number of rooms, so it was always crowded near the elevator and we always had to wait. 4. I wish they had more female amenities, like face cream etc. Everything they had was basic and simple. 5. The walls are thin. Although the staff did great job allocating us to the farthest and most quiet room, we could still hear people slamming the doors and talking in the hallway during the night.

The location is perfect - 1 minute walking from the train station. The breakfast buffet varies, so you don't get bored of the same options every day. Value for money. A nice little onsen on the top floor.

The internet connection in the room is poor, which I consider a big minus. The hotel management should also consider starting breakfast earlier - a massive queue forms already 15 minutes before the current opening time.

The hotel is so close to the train station, saving us a lot of time travelling around. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of choices to select from. Our room is comfy and quiet, we had good nights of sleep and rest after a long day discovering the surrounding area. Many great restaurants and bars nearby. The public bath is a bonus as well. Staffs are very polite and helpful.

Great bang for your budget. Close to Morioka station and include all the basic amenities for you to take a rest on your Tohoku trip. The staff was kind to assist me to dispatch my snowboard back home by courier service. And it includes the great breakfast which is standard for all Route Inn hotels.

Bed is a bit hard.

From my room, we had a view of the military-level parking lot. Not even a wall- just cars zooming past a few metres from our window( Room 322)

Very good value and in good location. The indoor-wear is really comfortable and I forgot to ask if it could be purchased. Great breakfast.

For the price I paid, there’s nothing to complain.

Quite unexpectedly, the free breakfast was actually a full-on, wonderful buffet! The onsen on the top floor was also a nice surprise.

Too small a room but it has everything one needs.

Breakfast is good but if you come lately You will find long Queue. The hot bath on 14 floor is very good.

I think it not necessary to deposit card when go outside.

Just across the street from Morioka station, not far from all the restaurants and souvenir shops. The complementary coffee is a plus.

Convenient transportation

Small room We had a twin room, but the bathroom was close by and it was difficult to walk and pass each other.
