Almost everything S its my 8th stay rhere

3 things. 1. Last trip pre covid the restaurant was fantastic. Many varieties, Japan & Western food. Always full but now the a la carte menu is a disgrace. Worst I have ever seen. And Buffet is very so so. So it was deserted! They need to fix it ir I won't be back. Normally we eat in that rest half the time. Honestly: it's a shocker. Change back to pre covid menu URGENT or they will lose customers. Sad - rest was almost empty every night. 2. They don't even supply ice any more that we can get for a drink in room 3. They CANCEL their shuttle service eg to snow or township. The was such a good service b4.

Pros: Amazing onsen/ sauna facility, great breakfast, and great location for skiing. Also one of the BEST bed mattresses I've slept on. Location: My partner went to Hakuba in early March 2023, this time we didn't drive but we took public transportation. We were a little worried at first however it wasn't an issue as the hotel provides shuttle pick up & drop off to the bus terminal on arrival and departure. Heading to Happo-one is only a short 8-minute walk or you can get the free shuttle at "Car Park 3" which is only 2 minute walk from the hotel. Ski/SB rental is only 5 minute walk, you can return all the gear at the hotel without returning to the rental shop. Bus Terminal to Nagano & other resorts is 8 minute's walk. Restaurants there are some good ones nearby if not, a nice walk to echoland is not far. Check-in Time & Security We arrived at 11 am to realize the hotel was not staffed & check-in starts at 3 pm in the afternoon. Lucky for us, we left our hotels at the reception with no issue and came back after skiing to check in. Breakfast Breakfast starts at 7am, there is a good variety of western + Japanese food options. Very satisfied. Why we loved this hotel mainly because they have the comfiest bed mattress and also an amazing sauna/ onsen facility! We would definitely come again!!!

Cons: Limited check-in time but it wasn't an issue, awfully slow wifi... you will need to use your own data. I hope they update their Wifi for our next stay.

Our family loved this property - the rooms were very spacious and the breakfast was wonderful. Plenty to choose from. We especially loved the onsen and the yakata outfits worked very well. Ski room worked perfectly too. The manager and staff were very helpful too and it was perfect for getting to Happo ski lift. Also the hotel had a bus to take you to Hakuba47 which worked perfectly. The manager was happy to pick us up on arrival and take us back to the bus station on leaving.

The hotel room could have done with another couple of stools especially in the area for putting on shoes. We were 3 adults but only had 2 chairs. There was nowhere to hang coats near the door when you came in which would have been ideal. A few more hooks around the room would have helped. It would have been nice if the staff told us earlier about the Yakatas you can wear around the hotel during your stay. I had to find out about those myself on a search of discovery. Also the hotel was very cold. We would have loved to sit in the bar for longer but it was just too cold.

Staff were lovely - really helpful and friendly. The onsen was really good - great to have it onside. Buffet breakfast was really varied and the selection of fruit and Holmwood changed slightly each day. There is an egg bar where you can have your eggs cooked how you like them.

The walls between the rooms were too thin. One side had a snorer and the other side had a baby that cried several times a night which is completely understandable, but I shouldn't be able to hear it. Not keen on the room layout. The toilet, bathroom and vanity were all separate and in the hall by the main door. It made it.cold.and uninviting.

The open foyer /dining and bar area. Large room with great view. The massage chairs in the foyer were cheaper and wonderful.👍 The Onsens where so beautiful and clean, not busy during the day and or the evenings later. Drying rooms and laundry facilities great too The breakfast was great variety of western and Japanese - which I preferred. Above all - The staff were amazing. I ruptured my ACL on the first day and they were so kind to me helping me locate things and get around town even dropped me and pick me up from the medical centre. Thank you so much I would definitely stay there again. Also close to the lifts. 10/10

The buffet dinner was least favourite - but it was still fine and convenient for staying in.

The onsen (indoor and outdoor) and sauna were amazing after a whole day of skiing, the room was spacious, breakfast was very well balanced and delicious, and the customer service was good. The hotel driver was such a kind friendly and helpful man and brought us to the slopes that were least crowded in the morning (sorry, I can't remember his Japanese name!). Location was great, especially for taking the bus shuttle to different slopes - bus stop was literally just outside the hotel. Very close to restaurants in the Happo One area and Lawson as well.

I didn't like that the shower in the room was very sharp and so it was hard to shower. But the onsen more than made up for it!

Very friendly & helpful local staff. Hotel very clean. Large rooms with large windows, view on slopes. Japanese style, that was important for us. Quiet & cozy place. Onsen offers nice experience and... baby-skin! ;) Great location: ski-in ski-out with comfortable large ski changing room/storage area, few meters from ski lift (Nakiyama on Habuka Happo-One ski resort) / few meters from ski rental shop Rhythm Happo (reduction coupons offered at hotel + you can leave your stuff at the hotel at the end of your stay! so comfortable!) / few meters from village center, restaurants etc.... Buffet breakfast included with choice enough of salty & sweety dishes. At dinner, daily buffet or few A la Carte dishes. Buffet offers always same dishes, This is the only thing that could be improved. Tasty food, good quality ingredients. We loved our family ski holidays!

Lovely reception areas to sit and relax. I booked a triple room which was quite big and had a nice view of the distant mountains. Onsen and breakfast were great. The manager had excellent English and was very helpful. Hotel was very clean. For skiing we walked from the ski locker area to the Nakiyama 3 lift and then went on the Riesen quad lift after that to get up to the main area where the Gondola ends. That was quicker and easier than trying to get a shuttle bus. I would recommend Unjaune restaurant in the town of Happo One- it’s a short walk and has great burgers, gluhwein and atmosphere and no bookings needed.

It is a little dated and bathroom is quite small.

Great hotel very close to the Happo one ski. The staff is courteous and very helpful, they have all the amenities and is also family friendly. The have a pick up and drop service from the station or from bus terminal as its not easy to find a taxi service.

Hotel is slightly on the expensive side and the room and facilities offered might not deliver at the same price tag. They have a restaurant but their menu and food quality (dinner buffet) is quite weak compared to other restaurants in the area

Breakfast was good - nice variety with an egg station and the fruit always fresh. Ski shuttle right outside the hotel for Imori. Didn't try the onsen but the freshly laundered yukata provided was a nice touch as were the complimentary water, green tea, hairbrush etc. Staff were really sweet and helpful.

Dinner options could be much better. Very small menu and didn't go for the buffet as selection was extremely limited. Would be great if there was a proper restaurant in the hotel as often after a day on the slopes it would be nice to just be able to grab dinner downstairs. There are a number of good restaurants within walking distance but make sure to reserve ahead as many are small and have long queues if you are not there before 6pm
