Close enough to walk to subway, local or JR line and had upmarket local restaurants and bars within the local streets and lanes. Staff were lovely and were able to assit in English.

Check in was completed via self check in machines which caused delays due to multiple errors and staff had to complete process. Room was small and although it was advertised as having a wardrobe/cupboard space, there were only coat hangers on the wall. Not enough room to store 2x medium luggage cases. Staff were kind enough to re-allocated us to another room upon discussing issues with them, which was appreciated.

The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and easy to use. There is a laundry option on the 3rd floor. Toothbrush and towels are provided by the hotel in the room, any other items such as single use combs, razors, cotton pads or reusable items such as hair straightener flat iron or charger can be rented or collected for free at the reception. Over all it was a nice stay. They also had the option to ship our luggage to the airport. The subway station isn’t far either.

There’s no microwave available in the lobby or in the rooms. But I don’t think that’s unusual for a hotel. Other than that there is nothing to complain about.

My stay at the hotel was truly remarkable, thanks to its impeccable cleanliness and amazing amenities. Every corner of the hotel was spotless, and the attention to detail in maintaining such a high standard of hygiene was evident. During my stay, I encountered some challenges in communicating with the hotel staff due to their limited proficiency in English. This occasionally made it difficult to convey requests or get assistance, which slightly impacted my overall experience. Improving language support could greatly enhance the service for international guests.

Property overall was great. Convenient location to all the convenience stores, and grocery and pharmacy. Walk to the train station was less then 10mins and only a few stops away from being in the main area of Osaka for shopping, eating and exploring. Staff were very friendly and helpful with our luggage delivery, and assisting when we needed things for our room or heating food up for us.

The size and layout was a little uncomfortable for two people. There is no where to keep your luggage in your room. We were unable to walk easily around the room and not able to fully open our luggage without it banging and crashing into something. I’ve stayed in similar square footage rooms which had more space due to a better layout.

A very clean space that had everything that we needed. The staff kept everything tidy almost every day which I was impressed with. The bed was comfy even though we were not used to it being on the floor. The bathroom was very clean as well. It is not a big room but we didn't feel too cramped which was nice. Our luggage was delivered via a delivery service, and they kept our luggage safe behind the desk until we could go and collect it. Plenty of amenities in the nice lobby, and they have a coin operated laundry with vending machines. It's in a good area for nightlife and easy walking distance for most of the things we needed to see. There are plenty of konbini options nearby as well if needed. Internet access was easy, fast, and reliable. Overall a pleasant experience!

Nothing! The only negative thing I can say is pretty minor, but again, it is a little small, so if that matters to you please keep that in mind. This is pretty normal for Japan though. That being said, even after we had our 2 suitcases, we still had plenty of room to move around and since we weren't spending all day in the room, it didn't really matter to us!

Lovely staff, very helpful. Guests were also provided 2 free bottles of water in their mini fridge each day (providing the previous days had been used up). Perfect location, very close to a station and some lovely bridges you could sit and relax by. On a night time the nearby side streets were busy, people dressed in suits and dresses for dinners out and what I assume were private clubs. Great vibes just going for a walk and wandering about.

The bed was a bit solid for me, but it's a hotel! They're never perfect but The Rise was great value for money, well worth another stay. Especially for what I paid on a booking.com deal, 250 quid for 6 nights... it was fab!

Hotel is located around 15 minutes from the Osaka main station. If you have a JR pass, it's super easy to move around. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Clients can choose between a Western or a Japanese variation and I really enjoyed the Western one. I also liked I could use the coin laundry during my stay as I was in the middle of a 3-week trip in Japan. Tons of free amenities were available as well (tea, coffee, tooth brush, toothpaste, etc.). The building and rooms were nice, it felt more like an 4-star hotel than a 3-star.

Room size is okay by Japanese standard, that means rather small by European ones. The bathroom also felt cramped, your knees almost touch the wall in front of you when you're on the toilet. I'm 1.75m and all of this is standard in Japan so I didn't mind but I can imagine taller/bigger people having issues.

Room was nice - i was alone and didnt have much luggage, but if you have a lot of luggage there was not a lot of space. location is ok - 5-10 mins to subway - 10 mins to osaka station by foot.

Its on the edge of a red light district so was a bit sketchy walking from osaka station (you can walk around this area - but google maps apparently wasnt aware of this) - but hotel itself is fine...zero human interaction for the entire stay...check in is fully automatic - theres an english (japanenglish) option on the check in machines so it worked but my personal preference is for some sort of human interaction.

Wonderful breakfast, was blown away. Location was excellent - not too busy but great area to eat and easy access to subway. Rooms were compact but comfortable and well equip.

Did not like the self service check in - worked fine but had to refill in all the details from the booking and there were no staff to be seen. Would have liked to have some kind of information about the area - the lack of reception staff made it feel like it was a place to sleep but not really a hotel - which was a shame as the rest was immaculate.

Great location near Umeda station and Midosuji subway line, literally thousands of eateries nearby, and incredible view from higher floors on skyscrapers and nearby roofs. And to consider it costed me same as some capsule hotel or hostel, hands down, great value for money

Some very minor nuisances, like, in twin room I found only one small main light switch near one of the bed pillows. Not a big thing at all, but just why not to do it normally? Or maybe I just haven't found normal switch
