Akihabara Bay Hotel (Female Only)

Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. They clean your capsule and provide you with new towels, pyjamas, and slippers daily. There are plenty of shower and skincare amenities available. The staff is very friendly!

If you are staying for consecutive nights, do note that you don’t have access to your capsule/locker or the shower room from around 10AM - 4PM.

It’s great! the facilities were well cleaned. and you got fresh towels, nightwear and fresh sheets every day. it’s honestly nice after a long day of exploring and shopping. I didn’t even mind that we needed to pass the keys to the concierge every morning. the staff were also friendly and lovely. they were always attentive. the lockers were also great for my carry on luggage. it fit perfectly fine. the only thing is having to manoeuvre and be patient while waiting for the other guest to sort out their stuff since the locker room is pretty cosy. it was a great experience all in all. will definitely be back. especially at the great price.

Best decision ever to stay in this capsule hotel for our trip in Tokyo. The staff is so nice and provide everything we need. The capsule room is so comfy and relaxing. Everything is clean, from the bathroom to the room. Everyone was so respectful. Everything was provided: kimono for sleeping, towel shampoo, facial cleanser... And the location is perfect !

The only thing is that everyone has to leave the room everyday between 10am to 4pm for the staff so they can clean. Understandable but quite confusing at first.

Location was perfect, 2 minute walk from Akihabara station, everything as described and pictured. English translations when checking in and throughout so no fear going alone. Amenities provided.

Not the hotel's fault, but when other guests are noisy throughout the night, you cannot shut them out, as they are directly below you, noise proofing is difficult in a capsule.

It was very clean and enough privacy for a capsule hotel. They provided you with fresh towels and lounge wear every day. The showers and beauty area offered soap, shampoo, conditioner, face wash, lotion etc.

You were not allowed to leave your stuff in the capsule and therefore had to stuff everything into a locker or leave your luggage at the entrance. This system would be fine if there would be enough space in the lockers but its quite bothersome to go down to the reception and get your stuff out of the luggage every day.

Near to the station and very convenient. There is a few convenient store around the hotel.

The locker is too small couldn’t fit in big luggage. During the cleaning time 10:00-16:00 we can’t go back to rest.

Easy access from Akihabara station. Provides all amenities, even skincare and sleepwear! Capsules are clean, system implemented with lockers and tags works well. Everyone keeps to themselves so if you’re travelling solo and not looking for socialising it’s good. As a girl I felt really safe here.

Lack of luggage space is a challenge, lockers are very slim so most big luggages won’t fit and will have to be stored at reception. It’s fine for an overnight stay but if you have a lot of luggage it will be tricky to stay for multiple consecutive nights. Beds and especially pillows could be more comfortable but it’s fine for a place to crash. Overall this hotel is good for its purpose, if you need a short stay then it’s fit for the purpose and I would go again.

Lovely and helpful staff members, everything is provided for each night! They even have liquid cleansers, facial wash, toners and moisturizer for ladies to use! Great place to go to for a short stay, suitable for beginner and single travelers. The toilets and shower rooms are always clean, coming back to the capsule after a whole day of walking in the summer heat was very nice and comforting! Vending machines available inside and outside the hotel, convenient stores are also very close by! Would love to revisit again!

Occupants will have to leave the capsule by 10am, so it was good for early activities. But some days I do wish I could sleep in for more rest... Locker space is suitable for convenient short visits, but not the best for travelers with bigger luggage. be careful of the elevator, sometimes it would close very quickly!

Very clean, bedding and towels were provided and changed daily. Wifi was decent and had no problems streaming videos and getting work done. I also liked this hotel was strictly women only and the location was very close walking distance to the metro station.

I found the hours that you were not able to be inside your capsule (between 10am and 4pm everyday) to be quite inconvenient. The shower and laundry area was also closed during these hours. You could make arrangements the night before that you would like to stay in your capsule the next day, which I did on one occasion as I needed to get some work done. The bed mattress themselves were also very thin and not too comfortable in my opinion.

Above every expectation from a capsule hotel. For the price I expected literally nothing but wifi and a capsule to sleep. But they had a lobby, vending machines for drinks and the staff was always helpful and friendly. The location was excellent and easy to reach, very convenient beside restaurants and convenient store. I had a own locker and luggage could be stored with the front desk. Perfect service. Calling a taxi was also no problem. I felt very safe and at home with this capsule hotel. the shower rooms were also always clean. GREAT!

The dryer of the laundry machine didnt really dry my clothes. Still wet and no where to hang them. the locker was a little small for heavy shoppers like me. Wish there was a possiblity to buy more storage room. not allowed to take pictures. I thought for this great experience somehow it needs to be documented.
