Excellent hotel! We couldn’t wish for any place better for our 9 day stay in Tokyo! Because we traveled with a child it was great to have a little kitchenette and washer/dryer in the room. The room was spotless!!! And quiet. It was pretty spacious for Tokyo standards. 3 of us and 3 carry on bags fit just right. Can’t thank the staff enough! They really went out of their way to ensure we had instructions how to use appliances in the room in English, provided Maps and Directions. We were able to store our luggage for a couple of hours after the check out before we headed to the airport. The area is very well located to explore the city. Only 20-30min train rides to most attractions. The neighbourhood has many universities, lots of great places to eat, inexpensive stores and connected to 3 major subway lines. Two of them within a 3-5 min walk and another about 10min along the local main street, which is nice to stroll. We can’t thank the employees and manager enough for amazing stay and a little handmade goodbye card they made for our son. He keeps it with all his “treasures” from this trip.

Finding reasonably priced accommodation at a convenient location in Tōkyō at relatively short notice is notoriously difficult. Suidōbashi is a nice area---not too bustling but still lively and with many stores and restaurants nearby. It can be reached by railway or metro from Tōkyō Central Station in about a quarter of an hour. The hotel is in a quiet side street just a few minutes by foot from the train and metro stations. The facility is not brand new but well kept. The staff spoke Englis well and were very friendly and helpful. Except for the view, I was very pleased with my room, which was not large but adequate and convenient, with a comfortable bed. Thanks to a refriegerator and a microwave oven, one can avoid going to restaurants (even though there are quite inexpensive ones with good food nearby). Guests have to pick up their breakfast at the reception in the morning---it is delivered in a basket together with instructions on how to warm it in the microwave. There is a choice between a Japanese and a western-style breakfast (if you are early enough...). I chose the Japanese one on both occasisions and was delighted both by the way it was packaged and how it tasted.

Guests staying for an extended period and spending some time in the hotel room should ask for a room right side of the building---from my room on the left side, I could only see a small piece of sky from one angle because the next building was at about an arm's length.

They definitely managed to squeeze a decent sized bed (our room was the superior double bed - felt like a western queen), a decent kitchenette, and a full bathroom, and washer/dryer combo into the 18m2 room we were in. Having a washer in a 12 night stay helped us stay clean and organized. It also meant we did not have to bring as much stuff (translation: more room for souvenirs). The location was decent with both a subway station and train station nearby (Suidobashi) and also walkable to Jimbocho and Ochanomizu. It's a quite neighborhood and so easy to relax in after a day of hustling around town. You can only hear neighbours when they're moving luggage or talking in hallways (not often). They have a flat rate deal with taxis companies. The front desk called a cab for us to Haneda T3 and it cost only 8000¥ (meter read 11000¥). For people who like it cold, we were happy to find the thermostat here could be set to 15 degrees celsius.

The duvet was very slippery and did not like to stay on the bed. The trash bin is tiny for long stays and you have to request limited housekeeping for them to come pick up. They should have a trash pick up only request. The room has very little storage area. There is just enough room for 2 checked bags and some creative storage under the eating area. Definitely an older model of Toto bidet that runs a bunch of water when you sit down (still functions okay but could use an upgrade).

We had a great 2 nights stay at Tokyu Stay Suidobashi. It's only a short walk from Ochanomizu station and it's located on a quiet street. Although it's not far from the train line, we couldn't hear any noise at night. Room is compact with twin bed but very clean. It comes with washer+dryer combo machine. So handy to be able to do your own laundry during holiday. Staff are very nice and helpful too. I won't recommend to have breakfast at the hotel though. Better to eat at a cafe outside or get stuff from nearby convenient stores. Giving the cost and cleanliness of the hotel, I'll still give it 9/10.

This is a modern, well presented hotel which benefits from a substantial reception area for breakfast, coffee, breakout/workout. Staff were generally warm friendly and helpful. Travel guides are offered for Tokyo which are helpful. Rooms were slightly tight, minimal space for storage of luggage, but otherwise clean well presented and fairly sized beds/bathrooms. AC and TV were provided and working, plus a laundry machine. Noise cancellation was fair/good. Reasonable access to nearby Metro systems.

Staff were relucent to hold our bags for 2 hours after we checked out, disappointing given we were guests for 6 nights and just wanted to go for breakfast quickly.

Excellent location with a quick walk to the station and some convent stores close by The staff were incredibly friendly and held our bags for us after checkout so we could do some last minute adventuring. We didn't try the breakfast but it looked good!

The room was prone to getting humid and moist. There was a puddle in the window frame from the condensation. The window didn't open at all. I think someone spilled milk in the fridge and it wasn't cleaned properly so it smelled of old milk.

I have been to this hotel a couple of times. It has a no-nonsense approach. If booked one season early, this hotel always offers the best value in town. Before the Covid time, I had an experience of booking one single room for my friend for thirty-some dollars. No longer so, but I still paid a low price in comparison with other hotels. I always use the room with the cooking and laundry facilities, which come in very handy for a traveler.

None.

Very convenient location - few minutes walk to both Subway and JR lines, convenience stores and numerous restaurants and cafes (and easy to get to from Haneda airport). Free coffee making machine in foyer, free toiletries and tea bags. Good security. Super convenient having a washer/dryer in every room.

Nothing - everything was good.

Having a dedicated washing machine + dryer in my own room was fantastic, as it allows me to wash and dry my clothes without having to go out of my room. Rooms are clean and big enough for a solo traveller like me as well. Location is decent, in terms of how close you are to a nearby station, and where you can go from the station itself. Extremely value for money.

The view is nothing amazing, as there's another building right outside the window.
